Good question! I mean, it's not as if they really include any 'good Christians' in the plot to balance it out, so it does seem a bit tasteless. It was fine for the memorable climactic scene in "Death's Shadow", but they shouldn't really play the 'evil vicar/priest' card too often because it does end up feeling like there's an anti-Christian sentiment. It's not helped at all by the greedy female vicar (can't remember her name) or the fact that the vicar baddie was shown up by an atheist (John Barnaby). Even Nelson made a crack about Churches giving him the creeps when they first walked in there. We could do with a bit more variety of opinion from the characters.

I see your point, but they've been bringing in people of more diverse ethnicities for the last couple of series', so we could see people of other faiths, both villainous and non-villainous.
But anyway, the point is that Christianity could do with a slightly better representation on the show.
