It's Pernille from the Killing 1, Katrina from Borgen, Vagn from the Killing 1, Ree from The Killing 1.

Yay! 4 murders and still an hour to go! Oh, I do love Midsomer. Always makes me laugh how it always takes 4/5 killings for Barnaby (old and new) to actually catch the killer

Loving this episode though!!

Rie aka Marie Askehave also appeared in the 3rd season of Borgen as did Julie Agnete Vang who played the Danish estate agent

Vagn aka Nikolaj Kopernikus appeared in one episode of the first season of The Bridge

That being said it was weird to see Pernille interviewing Vagn about a murder

Our aerial is dangling gracefully in the "breeze" but ITV. Continued to perform..enjoyed that though I had to laugh at the "chocolate" factory ( where was Charlie)? And guessed the perp early on. I wonder if the Danes enjoyed being in panto?

In any other detective series, Barnaby would be a curmudgeonly alcoholic and at least one of the policeman would instantly be having a torrid affair with one of Danes. This is however Midsomer Murders and we have frumpy woman stabbing eccentric old chaps with carving forks, ridiculous biscuit wars and cupboards full of skeletons. It is just like Agatha Christie for the 21st Century and I love it.

Yes, and in (typical?) how-a-townie-thinks-country-folk-live way, they all have stately homes, run tea-shops and have factories (and lorries) straight out of the 1950's
.
And on that note, haven't we seen the biscuit factory in an earlier MM? Something about a guy getting squished by a fork-lift?

Oh for a simple drug-gang related multiple slaying! Doesn't Midsomer have sink estates, like everywhere else in the country?

That baby was about 2 month old and all her black hair had gone. Was it meant to be a few days later as it still would not be right

Why are the Barnaby's wife's so awful. We he was on the phone about the 1st murder and she was hen pecking him to get the cot done

Loved Sanjeev Bhaskar look

Sykes is this "incarnation" of Nettles Cully, in for the comedy alone.

And it works too, so the producers got it right in their inclusion of the magnificent Sykes.....
They need to include a 'take you pet to work day' so Sykes can come along and help solve the crime. In Midsomer land he would be perfect.

So did I and I bet he had great fun camping it up. Burst out laughing when he was trussed up on the conveyor belt ready to go in the oven. Love the weird and wonderful methods of slaughter in chocolate box land

It was another hoot. I too was reminded of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.. I was disappointed there were no squirrels de-shelling the nuts for the Golden Clusters.

I guessed early on who the baddie was and was right.... again. Sanjeev Bhaskar played the diva well.... and the baby went from a few days old to about 3 months old in a few minutes but hey, it's Midsomer and we expect that kind of thing.

What a fun episode. My wife and I loved every minute of it. MM may now be a lighter, more comical version of its former self (which was daft at times anyhow), but it's still very entertaining.

Our favourite line was “That tea shop killed her!”

I've never taken this programme too seriously, as I'm sure neither do ITV. Even the old Barney Bee during an episode, once remarked on the high number of murders committed in Midsomer, with a sly "look to camera."

I think "the baby business" is a total waste of time, as it doesn't make Dudgeon any less "one dimensional."
He was at his acting limit as Dianna Rigg's chauffeur.
