Neil Dudgeon was on R2 Steve Wright last week - the one question I wanted him to ask was..
is it harder to good guest actors now when they can do Death in Paradise instead and get 2 weeks in the caribbean all expenses paid !!

How the heck did she kill the woman at the table without being seen?

Noticed that the programme Barnaby was watching on TV with Sykes was one of those films from the Death and the Divas episode. It was the same clip (the Egyptian sacrifice bit).

With the priestess played by horror film star Caroline Munro

I'm not usually one to complain about things like this, and I'm not particularly squeamish, but after what happened yesterday, that scene gave me the shivers.
Had this been on the BBC, I think they would have delayed showing this episode, but with it being on ITV makes me wonder whether anyone actually watched the episode first.

I love this series. Gwilym Lee reminds me a lot of Damien Molony

Silent Witness had a policeman burned in his car, that was BBC.

I caught the end of Wolf Hall with someone being burnt at the stake. BBC.

After the plane crash in Taiwan yesterday where there were people were killed and injured there were numerous episodes on the "Discovery/National Geographic" channels entitled "Air Crash Investigation" on Sky TV. Should they not have screened these episodes?

I saw a detailed piece on the TV news about cancer and survival, what about the feelings of those of a close friend of mine suffering from terminal lung cancer, a non-smoker, and probably thousands more people, sitting there watching the news that day. Should they not have screened that on the TV news?

There are many instances whether they are stories that affect just a few or thousands of people that can have a bearing on many TV programmes, where is the line drawn? I believe this is just getting ridiculous now and we should just let TV programmes take their course, without trying to find connections otherwise nothing will be shown.

It is bad enough with PC people getting their knickers in a twist over TV comedy shows and their subject and content.

Enjoying this series in general but I don't usually like whodunits featuring the whole pagan/black magic storylines, which I've seen in various other crime dramas. It just feels even more unrealistic than normal that the whole village would be involved in such a thing. Should have guessed who was guilty this week:

Spoiler

(spoiler tags in case anyone hasn't watched yet, I only watched today).

Nice to see Sideshow Bob in the audience at one of the magic shows. The story was typical MM, nothing too difficult with nice scenery.

There will no doubt be some complaints from someone about them and how they could have been better used feeding the starving millions rather than Sykes.

I know it was amusing to see Sykes stealing the sausages, but does anyone keep the sausages in a string? I always cut them apart to cook them.

Sykes is a brilliant actor!

The joke wouldn't have worked with the sausages all separate.

When people watch those programs they know they are about plane crashes, so what's your point?

I saw a detailed piece on the TV news about cancer and survival, what about the feelings of those of a close friend of mine suffering from terminal lung cancer, a non-smoker, and probably thousands more people, sitting there watching the news that day. I'm sorry about your friend. That's horrible for them.

There are many instances whether they are stories that affect just a few or thousands of people that can have a bearing on many TV programmes, where is the line drawn? I believe this is just getting ridiculous now and we should just let TV programmes take their course, without trying to find connections otherwise nothing will be shown.
What happened to the pilot was shared worldwide.

It is bad enough with PC people getting their knickers in a twist over TV comedy shows and their subject and content.
Don't get your knickers in a twist

Why would it have hurt showing that particular episode later in the series and bringing forward another episode for last night?

Jack Shepherd is always great to see, but I was wondering as he getting on a bit was his limp real or part of the act.

Be that as it may, she out-acts that mangy cur that adds nothing to the programme or the plot.

Yes from Silent Witness, plus the chap from Primeval, also Seth was in Doc Martin, and some of the others looked familiar.?
