That's who it was! I was looking at her and thinking now "where the hell do I know that face from?!?! "
Same here and I forgot to check the credits.

I think its lovely she finally has a job rather than having to fill in time with the Causton players
With all the crime in Emmerdale hopefully she'll become a regular.

I rarely make it to the end of an episode of ED these days in order to check the credits

Its seems there wasn't a epsiode yesterday, why? ITC schedules seems unpredictable...

According to the Wiki this is correct:
107 3 "Breaking the Chain" Rob Evans Chris Murray 27 January 2016

a total of 6 episodes this season.

Absolutely adore Midsomer. It is quite frankly the most ridiculous TV show and unrealistic murder show of all time but that is part of its charm. Neil is brilliant and log may its stupidity continue!! 😁

The flying saucer one the other week was ridiculous. Had to turn it off.

To me this sort of bollox makes Midsommer all the more enjoyable. Totally unbelievable plots but some not that bad acting and some great locations ( I used to live in the Thames Valley and spend most of the show working out if I ever drank in one of the pubs shown).

Yes is the answer......most of them

Yeah, Midsomer has to be quirky and people killed in the most bizarre ways! A few series back when Dudgeon first took over they tried a serial killer gritty story line and the killer killed just because they were mad basically, it wasn't Midsomer at all and they soon went back to normal service with silly plots.

if I ever see him act I'll let you know there was no evidence of it last night .I thought it was a bit boring last night and if you had your lungs inflated with a pressure hose wouldnt it explode your chest?

Quite enjoyed it last night - bit more of a whodunnit than sometimes - they were directing us to one ex-girlfriend bunny boiler when it actually turned out to be the current girlfriend bunny-boiler. How unlucky does a bloke have to be to have attracted both of them!

Joe McGann was a bit ropey, but Tessa Peake-Jones is always good to watch.

I enjoyed it last night, even if I couldn't figure out the murderer because so many people were acting shifty (my partner on the other hand figured it out straight away)

Well sorry not to agree with the consensus, but that was just plain sloppy writing in my opinion. It looked like the writers decided at the last minute who had done it.

And I am starting to dislike all the main characters now. I fear this may be my last season for MM.

This was the best of the new series so far. Though i did spend most of the time recognising ex Holby and Casualty actors!

Boring, boring, boring....

Not sure it's the writing, the acting or Dudgeons laid back, couldn't care less approach, but the series is fast becoming a wonderful cure for insomnia.

Still not over the shock ending
Would a slight girl like that be capable of such murders I ask myself

I was wary of the cycling episode going into it, and sure enough, it was the weakest of the three new episodes we've had. I guessed the true identity of the murderer as soon as I saw her. I wasn't fond of the environmental activist sub-plot either, though I did like how the person behind the hate campaign wasn't said activist but someone closer to home. That little twist aside, I found this a predictable and by the numbers episode - unlike the body snatching and UFO episodes. This week's wasn't bad by any means, but it was a step back in the direction of the more 'cold' episodes we've had since Brian True-May left. Why do I get the feeling that next week's art-themed episode will be of a similar quality? I always liked Midsomer best when it dabbled in weird and wonderful things, like a lot of the Scott episodes and some of the Jones episodes. Was hoping that the UFO episode was the start of the show recapturing that...

No. Especially when she was short and the men were all tall.

Totally agree with you MM is a lovely bit of fluffy nonsense to pass a Wednesday evening. I love Neil Dudgeon's Barnaby, much prefer him to John Nettle's.

Thought last night's was good even though I thought the bike mechanic was the murderer as she was first to find the bodies

I really don't like Charlie in this. He looks and dresses like a smart arse IT consultant. I also find Kam very annoying.
I like Neil Dudgeon but I think a lot of the charm of the old series has disappeared. I miss Tom and Joyce and Cully and Troy. There was a sort of normality about them that was a nice counterfoil to all the madness in the Midsomer villages.

I would have liked to see how she lifted the body of Aiden? from off the ground to stand him up and tie him to that frame.
