dropped/thrown phone - no service
Hi, I have a SE C900i, that I let my daughter borrow because she was going out and I needed to be in touch with her to collect her.
One of her delightful friends, threw it at a trampoline frame, and since then the phone says "no service" In can access the menus but can't open anything within, so I can see the text msg box but cant get into it to read anything. Im assuming the bang it had has damaged it but wondered if it would be repairable? It looks in tact can't see anything cracked or broken,, the screen is fine, the only damage I can find is the battery has a small dent in it. |

This will do afressh install of software-you may want to try synching with your computer to save photos/contacts etc first, because they'll be wiped. If that doesn't do it, then it/s probably beyond economical repair. |

You have tried reseating the SIM card? Maybe clean the contacts too.
Also try leaving the battery out for 10 minutes or so. |
