Thanks for that tip - I should have realised they would not be in a logical sorted order
As you say, some of the fixes seem to be in the distant future

“Settop Box : When a programme is set to record in a single instance, rather than selecting the Series Record option, the entry then disappears.
Samsung: Tests are ongoing to resolve this problem.
It appears that when a programme is not ‘Series-linked’, and is just recorded as a one-off, it then appears in the library and the record icon is present in the guide menu as well.
When contacting our customer support, it would be very helpful to know how to reproduce the problem, by supplying more details, for example: the programme trying to be recorded, as well as the time and date.”
I just had 16 vanish, something I guess we have to live with?

“Settop Box : When recording clashes are detected, it deletes ALL recording schedules not just one. No alternative option is offered.
Samsung: A fix for this issue is scheduled for availability in June.”
Surely not a fix but fixing poor software?

“Settop Box : When trying to a programme on CH4, E4, Film4 etc the set-top box is incorrectly displaying a message which states that the programme is already recorded. The programme to be recorded then cannot be selected.
Samsung: A fix for this issue will be available in the next software update, scheduled for the 2nd May from Samsung’s website. An ‘Over-the-Air’ download will be available from the 4th May.”
Fingers crossed this one works

“Settop Box : Missing programme information when accessing EPG Guide (Electronic Programme Guide)
Because of the way programme information data is updated whilst the device is in standby, occasionally some of the information is not completely gathered, and therefore is not displayed when the device is switched on.
We are aware of this issue, and are currently working to provide a software update, to enable the programme data to be displayed much faster.
A fix for this issue will be available in the next software update, scheduled for the 2nd May from Samsung’s website. An ‘Over-the-Air’ download will be available from the 4th May.”

“Settop Box : Programmes are being recorded from the incorrect channel
Issue: For example, end-user tries to record a programme from BBC HD, but a programme from another BBC channel, such as BBC NI is recorded instead.
Samsung: We are aware of this issue, and we are currently working on a software update to make sure the HD version of the programme is recorded.
A fix for this issue will be available in the next software update, scheduled for the 2nd May from Samsung’s website. An ‘Over-the-Air’ download will be available from the 4th May.”

“Settop Box : Samsung Freesat+ HD PVR records multiple instances of same programme on different regions, when the Series Link option is selected
Samsung: We are aware of this occasional problem, and we are currently working on a software update to prevent this from happening.
A fix for this issue will be available in the next software update, scheduled for the 2nd May from Samsung’s website. An ‘Over-the-Air’ download will be available from the 4th May.”

“Settop Box : Entering channel number with Guide hides all other channels
Issue: When the channel number is typed in, it hides all other channels, instead of displaying the channel entered at the top.
This is a feature which is used to highlight the channel. The services are filtered, using the entered numbers.
To exit out of this mode, please press the BACK on the remote control.”
I have found pressing 0 on the remote works best, back quits the guide.

“Settop Box : Programme Guide does not always scroll down to display all information available
A fix for this issue will be available in the next software update, scheduled for the 2nd May from Samsung’s website. An ‘Over-the-Air’ download will be available from the 4th May.”
This is ONE MEGA FIX!
