nickdenker, thanks
If you only had sky then your dish would not have multiple lnbs anyway so this is of interest to those that want to use the box for both freesat and several other satellites. Even if you don't have other lnbs on your dish the menus would still include such options if it has diseqc so anyone having a look would be helpful. I have found that the spec page from the manual on ztoppes photos does not list diseqc. |

Most of Samsung products (phones,TVs and so) have got hidden menus and settings.
I am just wondering how long it will take before that infomation is out in the open. Also there must be a way to get into the service menu. Just have to wail and see. |

Another instance of this recording is already scheduled - see library
I am getting this quite a lot on CHN4 (movies), Film4, Film4+1 when I try and book a recording. Can others please check they are getting the same issue. BTW, When playing back a recording, no other menus on the box can be accessed, not even the library of recordings. Free disc space is also not displayed on the library screen which seems to leave empty folders after the programs have been deleted. Automan. |

"go to the shop you bought it from and they will tell you" I'll be doing that then! Mentioned your issues on my email. Have obviously replied with an appropriate response. |

A couple more observations.
1. No option to over-ride recording start and stop times. 2. No manual timer option. 3. During playback, front display only shows program name e.g. "Batman (2)" for the second one you have recorded. 4. A Recording being made with a "Series Link" only seems to move into it's folder in the library view after it has finished recording. Automan. |

Sounds like recordings conflict. If more then two overlaps, it tries to book an alternative programme. |

"Another instance of this recording is already scheduled - see library!" And what library (timers) says ? ![]() >For that it list the recordings already planned asking which one to cancel. Probably appears only when no alternative could be found. However, I couldn't find how to cancel one of the listed recordings, it always cancel both of them

Still watching "Wall Street" live as it won't record.
Anyway, at just after 23:05 the picture froze for a couple of seconds which is about the same time the recording of "A Touch of Frost" was to end on ITV 3. Automan |

Boot time from low power standby is 42.26 seconds.
Yesterday, I set it to record Halloween H20 on BBC1 HD. Instead I get BBC 1 Oxford SD version ![]() I think this product has some issues! Checking your planned recordings is a pain as it puts them in folders (like the recordings) per series link and no background TV picture or sound to listen to while you check/correct. Automan. |

To check the scheduler is working correctly I have deleted all future planned recordings.
First item I try and record is Diagnosis Murder BBC2 England today at 14:00. Hi-light program, press record, select series and press okay. Oddly no record icon appears on epg grid. If I check the library it has set... 102 BBC 2 Wales 02-04-11 102 BBC 2 NI 04-04-11 102 BBC 2 NI 05-04-11 102 BBC 2 NI 07-04-11 102 BBC 2 NI 08-04-11 So not one episode from the BBC2 I selected and no other recordings set so no clash. Now to record "Millions Like Us" Film4 11:00 this morning - Which Worked! However Batman at 16:50 would not. Wait for this! If I cancel the movie at 11:00 I can now record batman at 16:50 Tried a couple more and it would seem if I only set one recording it is okay. Can someone else please try such checks on their boxes. Automan. |

Automan. Take todays episode, they are correctly coded so no double scheduling should happen (I set a series record OK just to be sure). Similary the later ocurrences are a different episode but again it's incorrectly multiply scheduling all the regional transmissions of the same episode. Till it's sorted out I suggest you delete all the epg entries for the BBC regions leaving only your own at lcn 101 and 102. |

Just had a look for you on a Foxsat-hdr which has the option to display the crid's.

Yes, it picked Wales & Northern Ireland again even when they are no longer listed ![]() Automan. |

Yes, it picked Wales & Northern Ireland again even when they are no longer listed ![]() Automan. . With no apparent manual record option to fall back on you seem to be stuck between a rock and a hard place .Does deleting the channels remove them from the epg display ?. The usual fall back for very odd behaviour is a reset to factory defaults (or whatever Samsung call it). What happens if you add BBC2 to non-freesat and schedule a recording to the added channel ? I have seen similar problems but that's been down to using only a series crid without a prog crid, not the case here. |

This is only a minor issue versus only being able to make one movie recording on all the chn4 family of channels. The box it would seem thinks they are all the same movie! Automan. |

The other BBC 2's I deleted are no longer in the EPG display but I guess the internals still know they exist.

The CH4 problem may well be down to the broadcaster, of the big 5 they are far the worst at screwing up the codes. If you wan't to post an example I will see what the hdr makes of it.
Chn 300 2/4/11 11:00 The Malta Story 13:00 School Of Rock I can either record one or the other but not both! EDIT: All the dots are back today along the picture bottom and up the right side ![]() I will take a picture. http://i336.photobucket.com/albums/n...4-02123122.jpg Automan. |

Threw me for a moment, I thought somehow your epg was different
![]() Do they have to be consecutive ?. Where's the other owners ?, without them confirming the problem or otherwise it's impossible to say if it's just your box or a software bug ![]() I will delete "The Malta Story" Now it says I cannot record sea wife because Heartbeat & Diagnosis murder are set. BTW, when you get such a clash it deletes BOTH clashes and no option to pick one! So I click on Replace and OK. Sea Wife is now set to record and the complete series link for Heartbeat and Diagnosis Murder has been deleted! I shall now try and record "The Malta Story". As suspected, I cannot, "Another instance of this recording is already scheduled" So I can add poor handling of series links clashes and so far I have not been offered an alternate recording or +1 channel. It does offer HD versions when on offer. Automan. |
