Sam injured in a fall

I'm not surprised he'd fall, only the pro's should attempt lifting two girls

Well, I doubt it was Sam's idea alone! Anyone who went along with it must have been aware of the risks and thought he was capable of doing it - or at least wasn't worried about getting hurt themselves.

I do sometimes question the sanity of the people who keep pushing the novices to greater and greater heights, but as long as there are people willing to take the risks then they'll carry on, I guess.

Guess I'm in the minority for thinking it sounds like Sam's routine will be good. I don't mind people pushing themselves; my mother is always telling me I'll kill myself with horses one day.

yeah it seems that this year in particular they're introducing more advanced tricks ... and more than likely a lot of it is just to push the entertainment value by asking them to introduce that element of danger

But like you say if the pro's (and celebs) are wlling to take the risks then they're going to continue pushing them

Personally I'd prefer to see routines that involve more nice balletic skating with a couple of safely executed tricks (that are impressive but not with too much of a danger element) ... must be especially nerve racking for the female pros who are relyng on the control and skill of the male celebs

Just wonder if this has been blown out of proportion - I hope so - Cos I thought the last 2 may be Sam and Laura - think those 2 deserve it more.

Injuries do tend to be exaggerated in the press & on VTs I feel. Most of the celebs have injuries at some point. I'm sure Sam will be fine.

It will be alright on the night

If anyone came on here after Laura had a fall and wrote a comment as cold as the OPs they would be slaughtered for it.

Hope Sam's okay.

Heavens, you need to let go of your obvious dislike of Laura
The comment from the OP is Ok, it was obviously going to be risky trying to lift 2 girls
I hope Sam is OK too.

I hope Sam is OK by the weekend - if he falls at the final hurdle due to injury it would be a bit of a hollow victory for the eventual winner.

Sorry if I came across like that

With two girls involved, it must be his 'self choreographed routine' - which makes me think he's maybe being a bit over ambitious with it

According to Karen on Lorraine it was a really heavy fall and she's concerned because Sam can't sleep well due to his rib injury .. hope he's OK for Sunday

Just like you got over yours of Gary last year? Oh wait... no, you didn't.

I have never disliked Gary. Anyway this is a thread about Sam. Gary is so last year.

Oh God Strictly don't start that because we'll end up going back over all the years and how everyone was mean to the celebs they didn't like.

All of them have been injured...some decide to put it out more in the press than others, whether this is good thing or not is for us to decide.

Isn't this a thread on Sam's fall, why turn it into another Chloe bashing thread (and no I'm not a fan of hers, I'm a fan of the final three).

They all look gorgeous in that picture, I really hope than none of them is seriously injured.

I wasn't the first to mention her name and I am only telling the truth. She was guilty, wasn't she?
If you want to be the forum police, please make sure you treat every poster the same and not single one out.

Don't be so sensitive, I didn't intend to offend you. I'm just getting a bit fed up with all the bashing (regardless of who it is, and what it is for). I think you are a Laura supporter, and I'm sure you are getting fed up with all the "big legs" comments.

I am fed up with all the personal comments about all of the contestants.
I was hardly bashing Chloe, it was just a bit of fun. I notice that you did not bring this up with an earlier poster who was bashing Laura in this thread but, hey, I don't mind, I'm thick skinned.

If it were J & C`s idea, he wouldn`t have dared to refuse to do it after he didn`t do a lift they put in a couple of weeks ago.
