This is fantastic news or less powerful handsets that don't support lash, i wonder if they'd get away with doing an iphone version?

Was this designed with lower powered handsets in mind? Because when its installed on my LG GT540 it took up 25mb....almost twice the size of any other app on the phone! ( Opera Mini is only 2mb) Its way too big for "lower powered handsets".

And...the integrated flash didnt work. It does list my handset as being compatible on the Opera website.

Needless to say...its now uninstalled. Pity.

The small print says 'Obtain Flash from the Market' so of course it is not available for the Pulse Mini or SF.

Any full functioning browser is almost certain be fairly large in size unless it is simply a new skin that uses the existing webkit browser engine.

I used this for the first time on my San Francisco.
It understandably took a while to sync to my desktop.

It is brilliant in 'Desktop mode', of course with the screen horizontal.
