Clhoe first last week

They wont want Sam on first as he is the only man so I predict Laura will have the death spot

I think the obvious order is Laura, Sam and Chloe. I think Sam will definitely split the two girls, and it would probably be unfair to put Chloe on first again.

Last year it went...

Kieron, Gary, Hayley

So its not as though they split up the 2 boys.

I would say Sam is a cert to open as he closed last week. Chloe skated last 2 weeks ago and 1st last week - so should get 2nd. Laura last.

You may well be right! I had forgotten that. I was remembering the previous year when it was Donal, Jessica and then Ray, but I imagine they kept Ray till last as he was the best of the three by far, but obviously there is not such a case this year as the finalists are more evenly matched.

in Ray's year Jess skated out first because i remember her flying routine being a little underwhelming and only receiving 25.5

don't ask me how i remember

I have Rays year on my computer and it was definitely Donal,, then Jessica then Ray. They skated out in that order and performed in that order, both in the flying and in their favourite routine.

That's right, it went Donal, Jess then Ray.

I would have thought it would be better to alternate the genders, but maybe they are in the habit of putting who they perceive as the most likely winner on last, i.e. Ray then Hayley last year. In that case they may put Sam last perhaps, if he is still the current favourite.

Does anyone know if they open the lines at the top of the show, or once everyone has skated?

Sam opened the show two weeks ago, Chloe last week so surely it's Laura's turn?

Fair's fair.

Anyway, when it's down to three couples, I don't think order matters as much.

So do the celebs who skate last usually win?

Didn't Pamela perform last in the finals of Strictly and she was out first?

If Laura wins or loses, it will have nothing to do with the running order and everything to do with how well she performs and how much support she has. I'll be voting for her regardless of when she's on.

Usually the person who skates/ performs last wins...

Although Matt performed 1st on the XF and won - so goes to how it doesn't matter all that much

I suspect that's just a coincidence really. I wouldn't read too much into it (but I'm sure others will!).

I guess it's that point in the series where there will be all sorts of conspiracy theories thrown round - who's got the best spot, who's got the best colour outfit, who got to perform the best lift, who got the most praise from T&D, who got the slightly better VT, whose banners got shown most etc!

Chloe skated first last week and Sam the week before, with Laura being second to last last week and middle the week before.

So it's Queen Laura's turn to be first. I'd like to see how the Laura fans can argue that's it would be unfair for her to be first though. Go on.

Don't know about this coming Sunday, but it seemed odd last week when they had Chloe, Johnson and Laura - followed by T & D with the sand artist
- then Sam after that

sio surely its Laura's turn to close the show....

Or should Queen Chloe allowed to perfom last for ANOTHER Week

No, Laura should definitely go last. It's only fair.

It will be up to the producers who skates first, ok us assuming what will be but they will have the final say.

DOI is just like SCD and thus the bosses have the power who dances first or skates first.

I know . just saying they use a coin toss on another reality show .. all past pimp spots or death spots are scrubbed from the record and it's just done on a flip

At the start of the show they do things in a random order, just like in SCD and I am pleased that they do it that way otherwise it would be boring if it wasn't the case.

The running order isn't likely to make any huge difference to the voting since it's the final & there are so few couples left. It only really makes an impact in the first half of these shows. Even then, running order can't be used to predict a result.
