Next week's theme
According to American Idol's twitter page apparently it's Elton John songs next week. Looks like they've gone back on their word about themes then.

Yep, apparently it was switched from 80's to Elton. Paul has to choose yet another EJ song now. I wonder if Stefano knows any Elton songs

It's a shame Paul did I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues. It would have been great for Scotty.

Grr, some of my 80s ideas were fab! Gonna have a look through the Elton songs now. I know quite a few but I want something uptempo for Stefano and Pia

Elton Jones is a more restrictive theme than the 80s, and it is a hard theme. It could be interesting!

Maybe Scotty can test his lower register and see how really low he can go with Blue Eyes

Oh no, not again. This theme appeared on X Factor last year and I was incredibly bored. Just not a fan of any Elton John songs.

Bearing in mind what he has had to say about these shows, do they deliberately do this in order to nark him?
![]() Having that in mind helps me get through these Elton John themed shows.

Good suggestion .............. but he'd have to do Brown Eyed Girl at some point because he wouldn't want to alienate any section of his girly fanbase
![]() LOL ![]() Also, I don't think we should rule out 'Green Eyed Boy' by Dolly Parton ![]() Quote:
