Sam and Chloe definitely got the best music choices. Laura's was a dreadful choice She needed a big theatrical number like the others had. Her Hairspray routine earlier in the series was one of my favourites.

Sam's showcase worked brilliantly because, as the man, he's supposed to lead the routine anyway. Some excellent complicated moves on show, making great use of the extra skaters.

Laura had plenty of attitude but Colin got lost in the routine. He was too much on a par with Sylvain and Mark instead of being the 2nd main character. Hats off to Laura's costume(less) design skills, though!

Chloe gave a typical gutsy performance but the skills gap between her and the pro girls was way too obvious. Didn't like the Twee-Glee version of the song, either.

Whatever your views of each of the showcases, I think we can probably all agree that this is still a much better idea than the pointless flying. I thought it was a great addition to the final.
