I'm not sure whether Thia should do something uptempo or stay with a ballad - she may get picked on by the judges again if she does, but I don't think an uptempo EJ song would suit her really. So, she may be damned if she does or damned if she doesn't.

I wonder whether we'll get any instruments used this week. Paul has said he would like to play the piano at some point. Maybe this could be his week for it.

Also, I saw a pic of James playing the guitar in between shooting the Ford video this week. Maybe he's doing something more laid back this week.

As much as i want Pia to sing an uptempo track, this week is certainly one week where i wouldn't take the risk. Firstly its a double elimination and secondly imo Elton's best songs are ballads and Pia said in a interview last week (going to paraphrase here) she isn't going to do an uptempo for the sake of it, she needs to feel the track because if she doesn't noone else will...

Was it not Katie who was rumoured to have that song in Elton John Week on TXF which was kinda ironic considering she had been in the sing-off the previous week and been saved at the expense of one of the best vocalists.

Easier said than done. Moving while singing comes naturally to some and others just can't.

Besides, commanding the stage has nothing to do with even walking about, but I wouldn't expect Jennifer Lopez to know that, If a singer has presence, they can stand there glued to their mic stand and still command the stage.
