Just discovered a problem that I don't quite understand, but assume relates to the fact that I have a single LNB and the loop cable. Recording the F1 this morning, and watching the programme. I press red button, get the menu ok, but then when I select the BBC sports multiscreen, the 'waiting' message just hangs there, the multiscreen doesn't appear.
So I stop recording and try again. Now the multiscreen appears. So, perhaps this is because BBC1 and the multiscreen are in different 'groups' - the multi isn't in LBV? (I don't know this to be fact because it doesn't show in the chart I have).
But then I wondered: if the buffer is recording the live channel all the time anyway, how can the above explanation be correct - in that situation the box is apparently seeing signals from two different groups?
Another odd thing in the same area. I tried to record the multiscreen - it works. Then selected a channel from the multiscreen and tried to record - no response, it won't record. Can't figure that one out either.
