tweet from Jason Gardiner 3 hours ago

For the record I will not be boycotting the final or demanding an apology from Karen. This story is ludicrous! Don't buy into it the BS.

Has there been another bust up?

Karen was on Lorraine in the week and talking aout the earlier spat said that she hadn't got a formal warning as Jason was saying. There was then an article in The Sun today saying that Jason was threatening to boycott the final unless she apologised but the quotes in there were all from a 'friend' of Jason's.

Apparantly he is going to reveal his hair transplant in the News of the Screws tomorrow - heaven forbid any of those pesky finalists should steal any of the limelight away from him.

The man is an attention seeking creep and if there is another series of DOI, please don't let him be involved in it!

I was hoping that the boycott story might be true as I think even ITV would sack him if he didn't turn up for the final.

No there hasn't been another "bust-up". Jasons tweet was in response to yet another fabricated article in the press claiming he demands an apology from Karen for the incident weeks ago now. It is totally untrue and that is what his tweet meant. It beggars belief that people are gullible enough to believe it, but I guess he has no choice but to respond on Twitter. As he says it is ludicrous.

Certainly he contributes more than Emma Bunton, his comments are usually quite accurate and I would far rather Jason on the panel than a wet tearful Karen telling everyone what a great "Journey" they have had. I think the programme would be far more dull without him.

When I read that he'd threatened to boycott the final, my thought was that it was another feed from his publicity people to keep him in the limelight ahead of the contestants and there would be no way he wouldn't appear. I could hope though, but now that hope has been dashed.

Someone made the statement/suggestion/thought that he made the threat. After all the show is all about him isn't it? The contestants are merely a minor distraction, having the audacity to take some of the attention away from him.

After tonight, his publicist weill really have his work cut out trying to keep him in the news when he just has his pathetic TV "fashion" slot on 'This Morning'. Even one article about him in the media is one too many for me.

Let's be honest, it's not hard to contribute more than Emma Bunton. I have nothing against her personally, but she really doesn't have any expertise to back up her comments. It is a shame Jason can't tone down his overly personal (and sometimes extremely rude and hurtful) comments because at least with his choreography background he does have some expertise.
