Im on the look out for a new mobile in the next month or two and what to stay with Sony Erricsson on pay and go. I have looked at the Xperia x10 mini and x8. Dont like the look of the Xperia x10 mini pro as it comes with a slide out keypad.
I take it most smartphone have 3g/HSDPA and are quad band.
Would also want it to have an MP3 player as I use that a lot on my sony Ericsson Elm that I have the now thats about 10 months also. Would also like it to have FM radio it I can but I could do without radio on it if i had to. It has to have wi-fi to.
I also on my Elm use the Sony track ID once in a while. Do Sony Ericsson smartphones come with track ID.
Dont want to spend over £180 on a mobile thats even with me putting my 02 rewards towards a new phone.

Why Sony Ericsson? What is it you like so much? They are not so good in the smart phone world.

Well I dont fancy an Iphone and im used to Sony Ericsson as my last two mobiles have been Sony.
HTC seem ok but one I looked at never came with wi-fi.
Nokia may have got better but a few years back I never liked the look of a Nokia.
I want to stay on 02 pay and go and phone has to have 3g/HSDPA and be quad band and as said have wi-fi.

The Sony Xperia Arc that will be out on Friday looks amazing. Probably the best thing out until the new iPhone or Galaxy S II is released.

EDIT: Ignore. Didn't see the £180 budget

All android phones have what you are wanting and you can download any MP3 player off the market you want, from winamp to doubletwist.

Save £80 and get an Orange San Francisco. You can unlock for free and there is a whole raft of customisation available if you are interested.

I've had Sony Ericsson mobiles for years, always thought they were good quality.

I have looked at the Xperia x10 mini pro and thought it looked and felt good, sturdy but it is smaller than others on the market. I think I would opt for the pro with the slide out keyboard, as the screen is quite small and may not be the easiest for touch screen texting/internet etc.

Strange how in all the years manufacturers have tried to develop the smallest ever handsets, and now they are increasing the size and bulk to accommodate all the features provided. The HTC's are hardly small to put in your pocket.

I got the htc trophy, purely because it was a bit smaller than the desire hd and samsung galaxy. Only a fraction smaller! I only use it at home now as almost a pocket laptop. I use my samsung lucido as my phone. Thought about selling the trophy and putting the money towards a proper tab. I like having it to browse the internet at home.
