Shame as she's been great all series but that was a real let down.

Yeah I agree. Shame as I wanted to see her Bolero.

We've not seen Chloe yet, so we can't really say Laura has lost it. However, I would say that Sam's was better so far.

Sam's was better but it was always bound to be with Footloose against that rubbish they gave to Laura.

I agree, but I wouldn't say that was Laura's fault. What was she supposed to do with a routine that ordered her to avoid touching the ice?

Laura was totally stitched up with that boring Madonna song against |Footloose and Dirty Dancing. I will be gutted if she doesn't get to do her Bolero

Time of My Life is an equally boring song, surely?

The difference is that Time of My Life and Footloose are both from classic films that have both been turned into musical theatre shows. They have iconic moves, lifts etc associated with them which are always going to be great to turn into big show stopping routines. Laura's music was dreadful by comparison

I liked that overhead step thing she did but the song wasn't as good as the other two.

Actually they should have been allowed to chose their own songs, which I thought was the whole point of the showcase. Stupid idea to give them songs.

Exactly my thinking, too.

The first performance was a bit lacklustre but she pulled out all the stops with her second performance, even though I don't think it was worth the three tens it received.

She's right back in contention now.
