I dont hate anyone on a reality show-competition..that would be slightly sinister.

I really enjoyed this routine from Laura but didn't think it was worth all 10s, there were a couple of small mistakes, but the speed of that aeroplane life at the end was really fast, I would have said 9.5s. I suspect the panel were under a little bit of pressure to give a perfect score and couldn't risk leaving it to the very last skate

most unfair on Sam imo.

Well it didn't leave me cold like it has done with some of you guys, I personally loved it and she has the personality for those scores as well.

If you read most of the comments a lot of these people actually want Laura to win but didn't think that the performance this evening deserved top marks - live with it and stop the childish comments”

Yes sir, no sir, three bags full sir.
13 posts to your name and you're already telling others how post.

Is this a DS coup by any chance?

And whatever happens ONLY Sam will be known as the winner, 2nd doesn't count.

Very good. Why does it matter how many posts I have had. My opinion is just as worthy as others who have posted 1,000's of times. You can carry on with your childish 'haters' nonsense but fortunately on the DOI threads you are in the minority. I bet you are exactly the same of XFactor.

Just because people don't enjoy a certain performance does not make them haters - Quite simple really

In all honesty, it wasn't my favourite routine of Laura & Colin's and much of the wow factor came from Colin releasing his hands during the spin.

I don't begrudge them their perfect score, but if they got one then so should Sam & Brianne for their take on Riverdance which was easily as good.

I have felt that Laura has been judges favourite all this season,
She is good but tonight she certainly was not perfect, so the 10s were over marking.

I like Laura, but I was rolling my eyes straight away on the unanimous 10s. Bias, as people have said. Even I spotted mistakes in timing and finishing, and I don't know shit about dancing on ice or otherwise. She did the same dance better the first time round. The no-hesitation unanimous 10s was pretty transparent...

Totally agree overmarked but then she was the judges favourite. Still didn't matter in the end right person won,

Overmarked by what standard?

Oh look, people thinking they are more qualified to judge skating than a world class professional skater...

i dont understand why people think she was overmarked? it was just as good as the first time she did the routine i definately thought she deserved the 10's. just because Sam didnt get a10's for his doesn't mean u have to be annoyed about laura getting 10's

i dont know how u can say it was favoritism? the judges all seemed to favour sam over laura the amount they spoke about how good he was

Then why didn't it get 10s the first time?

I think the 30 may have hurt Laura's vote and boosted Sam's. The public don't like overmarking and couples tend to struggle with the vote when they are seemingly overmarked.

If it was a proper skating competition then your comment would have some merit but it wasn't. The judges gave Sam 9.5's or whatever and then thought Laura's was better so had to give it a higher mark. The only higher mark was 10 - doesn't really mean it was perfect at all.

Neither routine would have scored any points at all in a real skating competition, so they are hardly marking on a real scale and part of the score in DOI is for overall entertainment/showmanship and nothing to do with the skating.

well done colin and laura you did us fans all proud, the only thing that bothered me was does anyone else think that as there wasnt too much of a height difference between laura and colin and the fact that laura is a well rounded girl not fat in anyway by the way just a stocky build, that it looked like colin was reallystruggling and straining in some of the lifts headbangers to lift her etc which made the moves look a little rough round the edges and not as smooth as say brianne and sam anyone else think that she maybe needed a stronger taller partner as much as i love colin! also thought they were a little underprepared for the bolero and it was all a bit messy for me x

They're not judging (or it doesn't look like they are) on a performance, they are judging on how well they perform what they are given. So of course they can get more points doing it a second time if they perform it better than the first time

I'm not a Sam hater, I like Sam, I went off him because he's a bit of a pratt but he's a deserving winner
