Why no ITV2 spinoff show?

I know in the past there has been Dancing On Ice Friday hosted by Coleen Nolan and Ben Sheppard and that midweek evening show with Andi Peters but why don't they create an ITV2 spinoff for immediately after the results show each week? It always feels so rushed and unfinished when a couple leave after the skate off. I know there's the post morning interview with Holly & Philip but I think an ITV2 spinoff like the Xtra Factor would be hugely successful. They could interview the judges, the axed couple, look to next week etc. A 10pm slot would be perfect for 30/45 mins. It's a no brainer if you ask me!

This would work if it was like X factor and the main show was on saturday and results on sunday. But as they are both on sunday that's enough DOI for me in one day and I wouldn't bother watching the spin off

There was one, maybe it was the second or third series and there was a spin off show on itv2 straight after the main show with interviews etc ... I quite liked it, it worked okay but only ran for one year. Agree with the poster who mentioned it would prob be better if the show were spread over two nights though ....

Because all the previous spin off shows were flops.

Dancing On Ice Extra
Dancing on Ice Exclusive
Dancing on Ice make me a star
Dancing on Ice Friday
Dancing on Ice Defrosted

were all flops.

Hell fire, isn't it dragged out enough as it is? They already explore every possible angle and discussion point so much that every sentiment is repeated 5 times.

It was the first 2 series thay had defrosted on after the main show. But when it moved to Sunday's in series 3 they dropped it which is a shame.
