Last night I decided to use it (after much ignoring all weekend) only to find I had no signal. So I go into Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile Networks > Network Operators > Search Networks and when I try to connect to Vodafone it says "Your SIM card does not allow connection to this network."

Well it should do, it's a Vodafone SIM... So I take it out and replace it, nothing. Restart the phone, nothing. Try to connect to any other network, same message as before (no surprise). Auto-connect, same message as before.

This has been happening wherever I go with not even one bar.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

I don't have a HTC phone so can't test it so this may be a daft question but...

...it's not set on Airplane Mode is it? Probably not but worth a punt.

Yep, got it from an upgrade in January straight from Vodafone. It has worked fine till Sunday.

Yeah what i would recommend, VF store should be able to do a SIM swap for you or CS can send one out takes a couple of days.
