home cinema system
home cinema query
iam currently looking for a home cinema system. i'm looking for a fairly good spec system, ive been reccomended this samsung one from tesco, £200; http://www.tesco.com/electrical/Brow...typeid=8090574 Samsung DVD/VCR Home Cinema System DVD-CM350 what are your opinions on it? is there any others i should look at with similar spec/price ?? |

It looks alright and you'll certainly save on some space by having a combined DVD player, VHS player and an amplifier. It does have a single optical in which is good for connecting a PS2 or XBox but there's no mention of stereo phono in connection to connect Freeview or Sky boxes to get Surround or Pro Logic from them (and also from a GameCube or PlayStation2). The quality won't be as high as having all these components seperately and I'd maybe wait until a magazine reviewded it.
