Tonight, I, dondfan998, will be looking back on the Digital Spy game that brought a Dancing on Ice community together. Now coming up to its third series, I will look back at the power of the first two series' of the game.

And also, I will be making a big announcement at the end of the show.

If anyone has any contributions about the game to tell about, whether you were a contestant, host, judge or even a viewer, please PM them to me - what were your favorite and least favorite parts about the show, etc.

Hi, I'm DondFan998. After taking part in many events and competitions, like Eurovision, Fantasy Elimination and Celebrity Brother, it's hard to believe that this post now is my 1,700th. But my first one ever was on a thread that changed the Dancing on Ice forums forever.

On the 13th of February 2011, at 7 minutes past 11 PM, DS Forum Member pothuthic, who had been on the site for about a year, created a post explaining a new Digital Spy - Dancing on Ice game that he hoped would work and wow the crowds.

The original post was this:

Just the next day, forum member StigOfTheKrump was the first person to sign up for the show.

''It was very original, creative, and it looked like a huge amount of fun.'' StigOfTheKrump on why he signed up for the show.

With not many other forum member-participating competitions around, it was a struggle to get people to sign up.

People didn't know how the voting was going to work - would it be just random or are people going to speed their time doing this?

So was Poth going to get his fair share of contestants?

In hopes of a Florentine Houdiniere return, Leicester Hunk (Mark) was the second contestant to sign up for the show, followed by Grade A Lad (Drew).

So, with StigOfTheKrump, Leicester Hunk and Grade A Lad joining up as contestants for the show, there were still nine more needing to join.

Already on the show, we had StigOfTheKrump, the 19 year-old who trains monkeys to pole dance, 37 year-old Leicester Hunk, who plays as a striker for Manchester City, and 22 year-old Grade A Lad, who stars in reality TV shows.

Joining the three boys were two more boys - the 20 year-old Big Brother housemate Danny Caulfield and the 16 year-old showbiz icon Jack Sinclair.

But where were the girls? Find out more soon...

Becoming the first female of the bunch was SheShe (or Sheila), a 50 year-old brain surgeon. With the line-up now featuring six celebrities, how far could Poth push it?

SheShe was immediately paired up with Sean Rice, the man who took Angela Rippon all the way to.....week 1 on Series 6 of the actual show.

The seventh star to join up was Gav016, a 20 year-old with famous parents (Chloe Madeley Mark II?)

StigOfTheKrump had originally wanted Alexandra Schauman or Brianne Delcourt, but received Frankie.

On his and Frankie's partnership, he said:
''It was great, I think we worked really well as a pairing and we had so much fun in training - I guess that's why we got to the final - through teamwork and fun.''

Also, Danny Caulfield went on to receive Nina Ulanova, which he was NOT happy about!

Meanwhile, Jack Sinclair received Brianne Delcourt, the actual champion of the actual show at the moment.

Bornfree, a millionaire, joined and was paired with Daniel Whiston, followed by Minxy Moo, the 36-year-old glamour model chosen to skate with Colin Ratushniak.

So he didn't disappear from our screens, Katie Stainsby was brought in to skate with Grade A Lad, and Leicester Hunk was given Jodeyne Higgins.

Danny would not give up on his quest to skate with someone other than Nina Ulanova. Meanwhile, Gav016 was chosen to skate with Maria Filippov.

Emzangel28, the 19-year-old comedienne, was chosen to skate with Michael Zenezini, taking the tenth spot in the show.

29-03-2011
Full of fame and glory, we met 21stCenturyBoy, a supermodel, fashion icon and boyfriend of movie star Mila Kunis. He was chosen to skate with Alexandra Schauman.

So, who was to be that final contestant????
dondfan998
29-03-2011
The Ice Panel was starting to be announced - head coach Pothuthic and I Am Gremlin needed one more forum member to join the line-up.

But then, a shock was to hit the show.
dondfan998
29-03-2011
Grade A Lad was discovered inactive by I Am Gremlin on the 17th of February at 18:49. 21stCenturyBoy quickly put himself to blame, stating that they had a fight in General Discussion.

Lorelei was chosen as the 12th and final contestant, to skate with Matt Evers.

Just one more judge and the show was ready. Who would it be???
dondfan998
29-03-2011
Well, it was me - DONDFAN998! I was desperate to take that final slot and I got it, alongside Poth and Gremlin to take part in the first series of the game. Find out who performed well in the shows soon...
dondfan998

DannyCaulfield completed his quest - he was partnered up with Fantasy Dancing on Ice contestant Gemma Atkinson.

And night one was 'Love Songs' - who would succeed???

Night Two was Guilty Pleasures. Lauren Smith guest judged for Gremlin.

This time, Danny Caulfield was the leaderboard topper with 23.0. 21stCenturyBoy improved with 21.5, whilst Stig and SheShe made huge improvements with scores of 20.0. Gav slipped down to 19.5, and MinxyMoo scored 16.5. Jack improved with 15.0, and the bottom 3 contestants were Bornfree, Leicester Hunk and Lorelai, with scores of 14.5, 14.0 and 11.5 respectively.

Lorelai and Minxymoo were the next two contestants to leave, after all three judges saved Bornfree over them.

On another note, the short-lived Comic Relief special started here.
