FIrefox 4 mobile arrives
https://market.android.com/details?i...=search_result
Seems it is currently for ARM 7 only (Cortex A8 CPU) phones/tablets.It "Loads quicker than the stock browser". It's had between 1 to 5 million downloads already. But how bad is it? |

It's not great. There's too much advanced competition out there now. It's better than stock in some ways, but it's not great. I'll stick with Dolphin HD.

For some reason I never get round to trying the browsers that just make use of the existing web engine.

As one of the 7 people who bought an N900
I'm happy to see the Maemo version. Only had a quick play but it seems pretty good, and the sync with the desktop is pretty cool. So far I'm liking it...

Doesnt work on my Desire HD with a custom 2.3 Gingerbread ROM on it.
Refuses to load any pages. Also apparently is a huge memory hog like its PC counterpart Also it doesnt support flash yet. |

Miren was my favourite but I use Dolphin HD because of lastpass integration
New Firefox 4 looks ok but not lastpass or flash yet Firefox bookmarks sync seems cool and you can already use firefox2phone add-on on your desktop which works like chrome2phone |

I think it's OK actually, and Sync is brilliant.
As for the lack of Flash they're addressing that as a bug, but for now I just see it as an iPhone simulator. |
