There are two shortcuts on my laptop display, BBC iPlayer Download Manager and BBC iPlayer Desktop. Clicking on Download Manager s/c opens the iPlayer window OK and it tells me I have no programmes to watch, I click on Download Programmes which opens a blank Internet Explorer window which tells me IE cannot display the Webpage. I then try clicking on BBC iPlayer Desktop, the iPlayer window opens, but nothing responds to the mouse clicks. Both these s/c have worked in the past. Is there a problem with iPlayer or does it expire if not used regularly.

It should be working now, the BBC sites were down for an hour.

My iPlayer desktop, is having problems

I try to watch (or listen) to a channel and all I get is a black screen with white text saying "This content does not appear to be working, try again later."

It is "online"

my sony tv is refusing to get past the loading screen as well??
