Stuart says to Dan that they are about four miles away from storm using the time between lightning and thunderclap. Nadia is talking about her experiences of driving as a novice in Portugal. Dan asks her if she drives around london. 'Noooo' comes the reply. It turns out she hasn't on her own.

Thw weather seems to be really closing in in the BB house, quite heavy rain and some loud thunder claps.

I agree, on this occasion it was an informed question and not one of his quite common dopey comments.

What you know has nothing to do with intelligence - that comes from experience. When I was Stu's age, I thought I knew very little. Everyone else seemed to know so much more than I did, about things in general. I went through my teens/early 20's convinced I was just thick.

All that changed when I took an IQ test for a laugh and scored highly (top 1%). That changed my life and instead of giving up on things, thinking I was too stupid, I told myself I must be able to do X or Y because I was clever enough. I have never looked back.

She actually is correct . There was a BBC programme on not so long ago about buying houses at auction and a piece in the programme showed a Swedish ( ? ) company who built houses out of containers -the same kind as you see on container ships .. I wouldnt have said that they were particularly attractive ,not on the outside anyway ..

It is now raining quite heavily and the guttering is overloaded as Dan observes. Shell is again moaning about her diary room conversation and the way they might edit her footage in the C4 show.

So why say in his audition that he is so inteligent. I would never knock someone for not knowing something, but when this person has boasted about his all knowing brain for all the country to see, he should expect some backlash.. but I do agree with you that experience is where you learn from, and I have always been a believer of this.

We are being shown Stuart in the lounge lying on the sofas. There was a loud clap of thunder and lightning (i guess) and Nadia exclaimed oh wow that was a big one. Shell tells Stuart the time but is 1 hour out, he asks her again but she says shes sure its 25 to 6. Shell is in the kitchen reading the laminate book.

Did Shell just tell Stuart the time was 25 to 6? Have BB been messing with the clock to make them stay up longer?

Has BB put the HM's clock back one hour?

I've known people who are academically very clever. They can have good academic qualifications but have absolutely no common sense and are ignorant of basic facts. This may apply to Stuart.

I don't think they have. Stuart guessed that Shell was telling him the wrong time but she confirmed what she said twice and so he didn't push it anymore.

At a guess, I think he has been told that by his peers/family/school as he's probably come top in his exams throughout school and then got 4 A-levels. Ask most ordinary people what someone with 4 A-levels means and they will probably say intelligent. I've heard it dozens of times (but I don't agree with that myself. It means you can pass exams, to me).

I watched that programme. It was really interesting. They metal boxes, possibly the ones you see for container ships, to make cheap alternative housing.

Actually I thought this the other night. Stuart asked Dan the time and dan said it was 10.20pm yet the time was really 11.35

But do you understand what I mean, He said something along the lines of probably being the most intelligent person they (the hm's) will ever meet, and in my original quote I was just commenting on how dim he is coming accross. If we take a look back accross the weeks, he really has asked some dopey questions, I'm not knocking him, he seems a rather rare genuine nice person, but dont big yourself up when you havent got the experience or knowledge to back yourself up.

I would agree wholeheartedly with that, i work in a school, and quite a few teachers would fall into this category, the lack of common sense is mind boggling at times.

It's actually a HUGE compliment.”

God, I know I'm sinking in deep with this one. I just feel its not what she wants. I know those woman like it, its good for them, its a money spinner. But for Nadia, I presume she just wants life as a normal woman ..... so gay icon, not so good.

I didn't see the show and with Nadia's accent hard to understand at times I didn't know whether what I was writing made any sense.

His curiosity alone shows he is not dim. Curious people are not stupid. I think he comes across as inexperienced and sometimes naive.
