A great performance from Fantasia and some wise advice to the current contestants at the end!

Great singer, oddball song.

Collard greens (spring cabbage), and cornbread. Potato pie gets a mention somewhere too.

Love you from the heart, you're like the things that make me fart.

You clearly are very selective about the posts you read.

I didn't like it. I wasn't aware that it was compulsory to do so.

This is the first year I've watched AI but I've checked out the previous winners and some other contestants on YT. Fantasia is one of those whose victory I struggle to understand. Deal with it and live with it.

Really? I see Motorbiking liking a lot of people and a lot of things. Or is that simply your reaction to anyone who doesn't like what you like?

Fantasia's song was dire, the lyrics are beyond stupid, and the performance was the usual impersonation of a drunk duck you can expect from Fantasia with the usual hideous noise coming from her mouth. There have been a couple of less talented winners but Fantasia remains the most ridiculous.

Fantasia puts some of the rubbish churned out by The X Factor to shame. People who don't like her are entitled to their opinion but there's no need to be down right rude ^

I never watched Fantasia's season, but I really enjoyed her performance.

I loved Series 3, it was the year of the Three Divas, Jen Hud, Fantasia and another girl Latoya London.

Indeed.

DS is definitely not Fantasia's demographic , for a start when I went to see her in London 90% of the audience were black . Not a typical AI audience at all .

Sorry Fantasia fans but I couldn't stand to listen to the woman or watch her perform then and nothing has changed.

That performance was rancid gorgonzola.

The song was awful and what has she done to herself? I just fast forwarded to the end.

Dreadful song. She sounded like a Sesame Street Character, and looked like Ursula from The Little Mermaid.

Rewatched it quite a few times and though it was a brilliant performance , The extra weight is for a film role . I think she looked good .

Silly song sung by a silly voice with the customary silly facial expressions and gestures. No one can say Fantasia doesn't know who she is.

PMSL at Jennifer nudging Steven to stand up, particularly after the puke-inducing ending to Fantasia's performance. What on earth made Jennifer and Randy think it was worth standing up for anyway? Laughable.

At least her performance got people talking , unlike some unnamed guest performers who probably didn't even cause a stir in their own appreciation threads , hence the bitterness
