But what a superb trick of being able to hold the audience so well that they love him, and can sing too. Yeah, very good trick.

Still don't like country music much but I just love listening to Scotty's voice!

Exactly.

And exactly. He knows the type of artist he will be after this, and he's proving week after week that he's great at what he does. I guess I just don't buy into the idea that they have to show versatility. He's hardly going to be singing disco numbers after the show, so why do it now?

Agreed. If a contestant, or any artist, can perform in various style equally well I have no problem with them demonstrating that. However, if a contestant has a strong suit and it's a great strength, as Scotty's Country style is, why not make the most of what your gift is?

Scotty is cheesy. I didn't understand a word till the chorus. Hope no one does 'Sacker if aiss'.

I completely agree.

Is it Bob Marley week now?

She needs to keep standing out though, after busting a move last week I think she now realizes it.

This isn't working - especially the fake Jamaican accent - I like her but this is a bit cringey.............

We is back....

Naima......I'm Still Standing....different style, should be interesting.

Looks good... song & performance...not that spectacular to me, dull in parts, needs more oomph.

The only cheese there is the guy who thinks he's cool. The rocker who can't sing or perform without cliched phrasing and poses and telegraphed (and flat) high notes.

Didn't really like that.

haha that faux Jamaican accent was funny. Not sure the song worked with the Reggae twist but at least it wasn't boring!

I admire her for doing that. I thought it was interesting and not as bad as I feared when I heard what she was doing! Not entirely sure it worked though.

There's something about Paul that's a bit....sleazy.

He sounded like Steven Tyler when he asked the crowd how they were doing.

I like Scotty, he seems nice, but he is sooooo cheesy and corny and oh well you get the picture.

Such a shame. The montage at the start of the show and the whole theme of Elton makes me wonder what a previous contestant would have been like performing an Elton John song.
