The Wimbledon predictions are just shots in the dark - if Nadal is injured then Murray might well make the final in which case it'll be far higher. And obviously the number of sets will be important.

For the womens, Sharapova is probably the only recognisable name in the competition so I don't think it'll do too well - worse if she doesn't make the final.

Dancc, if Murray makes the Wimbledon final what do you (and everyone else) think to a 2nd blind prediction?

I see that most people have based their prediction on Murray not making it and therefore if he does, I doubt any points will be scored.
Adding a 2nd prediction will make the title race (rzt, Score and George123) very interesting.

Thoughts?

I agree with this.. I know my predictions for the men's final is rather low. But that was me predicting that Murray would die in the water and that Federer was going to run rings around Tsonga... Neither of which happened..

I think that, in principle, it's a good idea - and one I'm for - but not everyone will be available from now to Sunday and so an unfair advantage is given to those that see the message and decide to change their score. I think it could cause slight annoyance if people - when predicting on Monday night -find out that the voting was skewed by the fact that some were lucky enough to change their prediction.Perhaps the three front - runners could do this as they'll probably be all around to predict a new score and it wont really cause any issues to the scoreboard as it's only really between them.

Ideally, the Wimbledon men's final should have been split up into two separate predictions. One for if Murray is in it, and one for if he's not. For future similar events we should definitely bear this in mind.

Thank you Dancc, that's very kind of you.

I was just wondering if while the game goes on, there was a separate knock-out round that went on all season. I'll PM if you want more details.

Another day, and still no ratings have been reported. Therefore once again there is unlikely to be an update tonight. But I'll have all the usual end of week and very special end of season leaderboards tomorrow!
