Very good, much better than I expected it to be, drags a little towards the end.

I've been listening to it for a couple of days now.

It's well up there as a great Foo album.

Bridge Burning is great.

I love "White Limo" so much it frickin' hurts. Totally pumps me up. Another Foos track to add to my workout playlists.

Nice to hear 2/3s (or 3/4?) of Nirvana reunited on "I Should Have Known" too.

Mr Grohl, when I heard this Foo album was gonna be a lot heavier, I was sceptical, I don't like my rock too heavy, but you have done it again! Great album, looking forward to picking up a physical copy when it's out.

I feel the same way. When I heard it was going to be heavy, I thought I wouldn't like it. But I love this album. I like how they made the whole album in Dave's garage with a lot of electronics and with analog equipment. It's a more real honest way of making music. IMO more music needs to be made that way instead of all the programmed and autotuned stuff we are constantly presented with.

The boys are back. Outstanding album. The best album they have done since 'The Colour and the Shape'. Don't get me wrong I think all their albums are good, some better than others but tunes like 'Bridge Burning', 'Rope' and 'White Limo' just make me tingle and smile. On 'Echoes...' there are a couple of 'Meh' tunes like 'Long Road to Ruin' and 'Statues' but 'Wasting Light' just starts of rockin' and just keeps going. It sounds like they have a new refreshed sound after Dave's sebatical with 'Them Crooked Vultures', Taylor Hawkins with 'The Coat tail Riders' (good band. Give em a listen) and then bringing in Pat Smear. Roll on Milton Keynes in July I am looking forward to hearing the new music live.

Spotify has the deluxe version available to everyone with Better Off. Waiting for my CD to hopefully be delivered today. Extremely good album which will sound awesome live, especially Bridge Burning, White Limo and Arlandria

I've never been a massive Foo Fighters fan (apart from the odd song) and I bought this after hearing how good it was. Absolutely love it, definitely my favourite album of the year so far

I'm the same as you. Never been a massive FF fan, but after hearing all the teasers for this album I had to listen to it...really fantastic, proper hard-rock with epic choruses.

Got this from Sainsburys this morning. Really is an excellent album. Even though I do like buying albums physically, I wish I'd bought it on iTunes though. Didn't realise the download came with a bonus track, and a remix of Rope.

The bonus track is awful though, and personally I couldn't care less about a dance remix of a rock track, thats akin to blasphemy

I bought it digitally but for £3.99 on Amazon - feel sorry for all those suckers paying full price on iTunes!

They performed the whole album + some classics on the Late Show dressed as the Beatles

I might try and rip the audio of this at the weekend.

Sweeeeeeeeet I'm already looking for that. Dave Grohl is not bothered that people rip the music. He said in an interview that the manager was worried because they where playing the new album in US clubs and people would be putting it on You Tube. Dave Grohl said he wasn't bothered he just thinks they shot themself in the foot when he reads comments saying 'Yeh I love the new album and I love 'Rope' but I prefer the live version'
