God yeah, that night was heavy going! LOL

I agree, he was a good mentor, so it was disappointing that his performance didn't reflect it.

Due to me kind of getting spoiled about the next theme, apparently it is....

Shame about the result. Thia wasn't a stand-out contestant but she definitely wasn't one of the worst. And I thought Naima was a breath of fresh air. One of them could have stayed a little longer if the save wasn't wasted on Casey.

John Lennon for me.

So that's 4 girls gone now and all guys are still there lol”

Hi meglos, just saw this, so thought I'd end evening on a high note, which is more than the contestants will ever make, from original artists featured in totp.

re the Beatles thing, I was a fan from the start, but preferred John Lennon's voice to Macca's, wee Ringo was cute and George was in his own world, but brought out some good music afterwards. There was always a competition of who liked who the most at the time.

Was always going to be guys staying over girls, but glad Pia remains, as she has class.

See ya. xxx

Scotty and Lauren's duet was one of my favourite moments of this season ..loved it!

Watched just now after being away this weekend.

Scotty and lauren - she was 'meh' he was embarrassing. Stop it Scoty, he's like Val Doonican
Jacob and Naima - she was good (I'd say very good) , he was so smarmy and insincere...wanted to slap him.
The 3 girls - yawn.
The 4 Boys - I'm no fan of Paul Mc but I've seen him do that live, (and we've all heard it many, many times) it was dire, dreadful totally lacking in passion. They were tuneless, just awful.

IMO the bottom 3 should have been Thia, Stefano and 1 of lauren, paul, naima ... but to go should have been thia and stefano by a mile. Naima is a loss to the comeptition at this stage (i think) Id rather paul had gone. Who the heck is voting for Stafano and why?

How sincere do you expect a gay man to come across when singing relationship lyrics with a woman?

The duets/collaborations are a much better idea than group performances.
The best one was Scotty & Lauren, though Lauren completely outshone Scotty. Jacob and Naima were quite good, the larger groups were the worst.
