The Sophie & Sian Storyline (Corrie - Part 34)
I'm doubtful it will get anymore than a mention if that, because.. well, they gotta squeeze a lot into an ep and Sophie/Sian being cute won't further any storylines
it's too bad they're not hiding anything from anyone anymore so they can't have anyone walk in on them I just hope people (not here, more on twitter lol) don't get all "Ugh PC sucks!!! How dare they not mention it?!?!" if they don't do anything, because I think it's understandable why they wouldn't, as nice as it would be!Speaking of things we want to see, I'm still waiting for Sophie/Emily to resolve things... I really thought we might get a scene between them after Sophie's fall and when she decided to go back to church! I'd like an Emily scene too. I love Sophie and Emily's relationship.

Me too, I think it's a shame they dropped things between them. I can't wait til they're old enough to spend all their time in the Rovers so they can interact with everyone more
![]() And yay new thread! On the last one over a month

Speaking of keeping it PC...any ideas of what they are allowed to show with regards Sophie/Sian relationship? Have producers had to tone it down a bit since the New Year loving..

Nah they'd have no reason to, it's not like there was any uproar lol. But obviously there wouldn't really be any reason to show that much again anyway
![]() http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...ht-in-bed.html How do I get a job writing for The Sun, gotta be the easiest day's work ever. Love when articles make up an "insider" and get their facts wrong

Morning all! The Sun article is ridiculous - such poor journalism and as you said - if they bothered to do any kind of research they would know that Sacha and Brooke don't even share a dressing room!
Anyway....does anyone know roughly how long the Siophie drought is set to last? Hope its not too long... |

No we don't know how long the drought will last, although it shouldn't be more than about three weeks with the 'driving lesson' coming up

Hopefully it will only be three weeks at most. Someone on twitter yesterday said it was 6 weeks!!! I thought that was a bit much!

Good to see the forum back up. Right so we need to give ourselves a Siophie fix for potentially six weeks- thank god for YouTube!

Also looks likely that the anniversary is going to be overlooked... |

Glad the forum is back too! Yep it looks like youtube may have to be heavily called upon for the next few weeks - i'm guessing anywhere up to five weeks as the driving lessons were filmed a week ago. Will be keeping my fingers crossed for some surprise Siophie before then but not hopeful.

Yeah does look like it will be overlooked. It's a shame but not surprising. I had an idea to mark the anniversary- a vid of every Siophie kiss from the first year
![]() I'm not surprised either that the anniversary is likely to be overlooked - i guess it would break with soap tradition of not marking these things. I think the hope was that they might approach Siophie a little differently as they are a first for Corrie as the first lesbian couple. Just have to hope that they opt to give them the first lesbian wedding instead when the girls are a bit older

I enjoying watching Corrie for Sophie & Sian and a few other street stories lines but have to admit that I do lose interest if they disappear for a few weeks...I know they have been given some headline stories over the past 12 months but I think many viewers still seen them as background characters for the most part as they do seem to have more of a support role rather than a lead. So we have to make due with a few minutes of screen time every couple of weeks to get our fix....sounds pathetic eh...
