I have never come across anything like this one any other network before.
If somebody sends me a text, it wont come thought, but sometimes it wont come thought for like 8 hours or so and i wont get any other text thought from that person in that time, after about 8 hours ill get a bulk load thought, Ive tired it on different phones and its still the same

Any ideas?

Thanks!

It could be a problem with your sim card. Phone and ask them if they are having any issues, it could be a case of doing a sim update.

Orange are having problems with the networks at the moment. I have spent ages talking to tech support and site services re the issues.

Where I live they are upgrading the fixed site but it is not going well. Believe it or not, there are dead spots where there were'nt. I regularly dont get a signal, cant send or receive calls and texts then they come flooding through. Unfortunately it seems like for my area it will last a bit longer.

I cant change over to the t-mobile signal either as that is the reasons for the problem.

Anyway, in your case, you could ring 150 and ask them but other than them resending the parameters to your sim they might not be able to offer any advice.

Sorry for the doom and gloom but I am assured by Orange that it will improve, although they could not give a time!!

I've been having this trouble with my Orange mobile too over the last month or so. Mine is mostly with phonecalls, but the last week or so texts have been awkward to send and receive too.
My problem seemed to begin when Orange merged signals with T-Mobile. It's meant to make getting a signal easier, but my phone is constantly saying "orange" then "searching" then 10 mins of "limited service" then "orange t-mobile" and its constant.
It's awful

Welcome to the world of mergers!! Its shocking, I have just had a huge rant with orange about this, apparently the directive from their bosses is the switch needs to be complete by 30th April. The tmobile 3G service will be live in 10 days, I don't believe that though. It's been happening since October!!

It's annoying me too. I have just had to reboot my phone twice as it decided to lose all orange signal and wouldn't let me connect to orange, I know the phone is not fault as it connected to other networks just fine. I am fed up with all this as Orange always had a rock solid 3G connection in my area until this merger started. It looks like the masts cannot cope with both Orange and T-mobile customers together. I just wish OFCOM hadn't said sites had to be closed as part of the merger.

This happened to me around February. Phone would be sitting on my desk at work indicating a good signal. If someone tried to call it went straight to voicemail, and messages only arrived once I got home.

It was the system messing around. Technical support told me to temporarily switch the phone to G only and not to use the 3G signal and it worked.

Not happening for a while I'm afraid. It's been delayed.
