Haha, yeah forget the story. It's overrated. Brad being naked is enough to make it one of the greatest movies ever for you Yet Se7en doesn't need that too be an amazing movie

Futurama is a great show. Really happy they continued to make it again!

The boy has many talents, he has done loads of great movies. But the best ones always seem to be over two hours long

I can't imagine any Brad Pitt movie being to long for you have you seen Mega Mind where he plays a super hero. He really has the voice for it too.

Nope, I haven't seen Megamind yet.
He also did the voice of Sinbad when they made a movie of that.

Very true, not great, but it was entertaining. He has done 2 animated movies so far. I'm sure you'll see it this year. Brad Pitt is in it, i'm guessing that makes it go number 1 on the list

Yes!! To be fair that really was an epic episode. All the little twists and turns and the wedding rhyme well that was just genius. Someone was very clever to think of that. It gave me chills when Amy stood up and realised. And I love that Moffat still left stuff unanswered. Epicness the whole time! Just shows you don't need a three parter to make an explosive ending.

afternoon people - reading the posts I wasn't sure if I was in the wrong place

I haven't been on here in months but I went to see the show last night so thought I'd pop in with my observations.

It was nothing like I expected it to be - which was weird cos I didn't realise I had any expectations.

The effects are amazing (though perhaps a little too heavily relied on in places for live theatre.)

The witches were great - loved the bit when WWW came down from the ceiling! - and the monkeys too - all quite reminiscent of Wicked - in a good way.

It's a shame that the score isn't as strong as Wicked's (though I really liked the new songs)

I absolutely loved the Tin Man and the other main characters were great too.

I thought the second act was better than the first but obviously they had more freedom in that act to do things differently.

I didn't like the dog - too unpredictable and took away from the show (IMHO) though Danielle handled it well.

Danielle herself was fabulous, definitely the best thing in it for me - vocally she was flawless but as usual her acting was amazing - she made me LOL over and over again. It's difficult to believe this is her first role.

Nice review. I agree that the effects play too big a part, which is a big reason for constant technical delays.

yeah we had a short stoppage too - didn't make any difference but if you have that much technology it's bound to happen. I couldn't help thinking - you can't compete with CGI movies so don't even try!

I didn't think it detracted from the show too much (the dog bothered me more tbh!)

I really went to see Danielle and she was amazing - I'm sure she's going to be a big stage star for a long time
