We all know the Doc can't actually die at that scene as Matt, because then you'd never get any new Docs. So, they must change time at some point (Amy shooting the child/Astronaut maybe), but then that'd alter history and create a paradox as River said, could this affect the series as it develops!?!

Yes i'm on a role, moffat isn't the only one who can do this My brain has gone to Doctor Who overload. And i'm okoay with that

The child isn't going to die. We saw that in the trailer for the next episode, plus that would be very easy. I think we'll find out in episode 13!

Did it live upto your excitement/build up to this series?

One other thing about this episode, i loved the: In memory of Elisabeth Sladen in the beginning. gave me shivers.

I know shes not dead, hence I didn't put that, but it could still change history. Yep, I've a feeling most questions will be answered then

That was a sad moment, but its the least she deserves.

haha, I loved it. Definitely the best opening to a series, and one of the best Doc Who's the new series has produced

The one thing Moffat has over Russel is the storyline, he can create a deeper more twisted storyline. Russel was always obvious tbh.

I dunno, and thats the beauty of it, we're kept in anticipation, it keeps the Doc Who love thriving throughout the week, its not just a weekend thing.

True, i do know more then you. I know how the next episode will end. It will only raise more questions.
That's a weakness for me. If i don't get the answers quickly i get irritated about it. That eventually i don't want to think or talk about it.

ok I've got a theory about the dead doctor. So I've just been stalking digital spy and came across a run down of episodes of this half of the series. I'm taking an extract from the description of the 5th and 6th episode

As we reach the latter half of the series, spoiler sensitivity reaches dangerous levels, so plot details are scarce. Guest star Leon Vickers's casting as a "clone worker" earlier this year might provide a few hints however...

If he is a clone worker maybe the doctor that was killed was actually a clone. I can't explain the regeneration part but if the cells are the same maybe it makes sense. Just wondering. It could exlpain a lot. Or is it a silly idea?

haha, snap! It did well with the audience ratings as well, baring in mind it was sunny so most people would be out and its on at an earlier time. Its the biggest programme on the BBC this week.
