4in Sony Xperia X10 is £250 @ O2 store and will have Gingerbread later this year.

What is the difference between the desire and desire HD?

I've basically bought one off ebay for £259.99, but it is only a desire, not a desire HD.

And thanks. Think I will get the desire from Phones4You then. Will it be able to accept Gingerbread and how would I download to phone?

If you've just signed a 24 month contract presumably you got a handset which you could sell to offset the cost of whatever you decide on?

I haven't signed a new contract and the phone that came with the contract about a year a go is now long gone as I lost it on a night out.

On the phones4you website they only show the desire and not the desire hd. I rang my local phones4u and they said they have it in for £250+ £10 top up, but I'm not sure whether they have the HD desire. Probably just the desire which I don't want.
