Short of undoing the screws at the bottom, lifting the screen off with some sort of suction device and blowing the dust out yourself, not really. It's not a difficult process though, just follow the first few steps in iFixit's guide to replacing the screen (http://www.ifixit.com/Guide/Repair/I...nt-Panel/587/1).
Apple would swap for this if it's in warranty, though as it's a iPhone 3G I suspect it isn't anymore unless you bought it just before it was discontinued or have AppleCare
