Yum, but only a thin layer of it, same with Vegemite and I love those little cheesy Marmite Babybel type things.

Same as any cult food with strong taste. Like Kendal Mintcake, or Fisherman's Friend (no, the other one, the zozenge!). Or hot sweet tea with condensed milk ........

I'm sure there "Perfect Marmite Moments", but mostly, yuk!

It's yuk. Nobody in my family can stand the stuff.

I have to say it's not something I have ever thought about it. I have never bought it, think I tried it when I was a child and wasn't bothered with it. I do love twiglets though, and also those little cheeses that someone mentioned before are really, really nice.

I think Marmite play a good psycological trick, making people come out and hate it makes those who like it come out and defend it and therefore love it!

Anybody know if you can still buy marmite crisps anywhere? I loved them and now can't find them anymore.

Vegemite is better. Hot granary toast with a little grain mustard and Vegemite is heaven.

The most beatiful subtance in the known world. When you learn what is actully is ... it's so wrong. On paper it should be the most revolting thing in the world but it tastes beautiful.

Give me a unlimited supply of it and cream crackers and I could eat it forever.

In my opinion, Marmite is OK, especially on warm toast.

I think the advert is crap though, as the 'either love it or hate it' notion is stooopid.

Totally Yum.

Can't beat a marmite and cucumber sarnie.

Loads of it splashed between two hefty slices of bread and thickly sliced cucumber.

Feeling hungry now.

Apparently I hated it as a toddler - as did my siblings - so my dear old mother never bought it again and I've never been interested enough to try it myself as an adult.

Your a peasant, how dare you mention the 'V' word in a thread about Marmite, your nothing short of a bad egg sir (or madam) !

'V' is a poor substitute invented by the descendants of the Australian criminal class and should be banned the the shores of this green and pleasant land IMHO. Your use of grain mustard leads me to think you are vegetarian, something else that should be banned.
