ONE?! That is not possible.
Of your list, I prefer Leerdammer. But my other favourites, depending on time of day, my mood and what I do with them would include paneer, mozzarella, emmental, bleu d'auvergne, camembert, brie, tomme, and probably a dozen others that I'll remember later. |

There's a bit of a difference between mature cheddars, other stong cheeses and soft cheeses/cream cheese.
I mostly eat cheddar and the best i've tried recently was Taw Valley Tickler from Morrisons. I'm not greatly bothered by always using British but I watched the Great British Food Revival program on Cheese and it was surprising how many pre-packaged chesse (probably mostly cheddar) was not from British milk. |

When I followed low carbohydrate diets, i used to make lasagne using leerdammer instead of pasta sheets. I love the stuff, even though it's possibly the most uncheesy cheese i've ever tasted!!!!
Other than that i love red leicester!! |

Vintage Cathedral City. Great texture and taste, though do find not all stores stock it.

The Lake District Cheese Co. Mature Cumbrian Cheddar.
It's really nice and doesn't have a funny aftertaste which I've had with some others. |

None of the above for me. I don't have a favourite cos there is a cheese for every mood so I might choose from Stilton, Manchego, Gorgonzola, Camenbert, a mellow goat's cheese, or just something I've never seen before that looks interesting and yummy. I'm a big cheese fan!
