Galaxy apollo
Hi
I bought a Samsung Galaxy Apollo phone last week. I am really pleased with the functions on it, it does me just fine. What I am concerned about is, I have to charge the battery almost every day. Am I doing something wrong? Is there a way to be able to extend my battery life? Although I have taken a few pictures, send texts (around 30) and about 8 e mails, I have not really used any other apps except those. My battery life says almost 80 is used on the androids, is there a way to alter that? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks |

Charging almost every day is normal battery life for a smartphone. If you've come from a feature phone, you're probably used to charging a couple of times a week, but it's rare that any of the touchscreen smartphones get more than 2 days without a charge, and every day charging seems to be the norm.

You can buy cases that have external batteries in them to extend the life of the phone...
Not sure if they are available for your phone though |

I have the same phone . Mine was doing the same there is a power control widget on the phone use that for turning off things like wifi and bluetooth and diming the backlight. if you leave wifi/bluetooth on they scan in background draining the battery. I can get about 3 days out of mine now with just normal use. While on home screen press left button then click add. Then android widget then scroll to power control. i just turn things on when needed.
