Someone was asking recently about a repeat of A Christmas Carol. It's supposed to be on BBC3 Saturday 16 April.

I watched it again last night, and was engrossed, enthralled, enchanted yet again. Love it.

Last night was good veiwing. Two episodes to set us up for next week's premier. Marvellous.

Following on from Man Utd losing the semi-final, it made for a cracking watch all round.

Just watched it, loved it really fun episode with great pace and I love the way it was told, with The Doctor skipping between timelines. However, I'm curious as to why Karen Gillan wasn't featured that much I don't think there has been a Christmas Special yet which featured The Doctor and his series compainion as the main characters (I mean The Christmas Invasion was more of a Doctor-Lite episode) I thought this would feature them both a lot more.

The thing that annoyed me most though wasn't the episode but the people on the DS forum who were watching, they were giving it no more than 10 minutes before saying either "Confused!!!!" or "Boriinnnnnnggg" it was really annoying that people would give time for the episode to develop.

I must admit it took time to grow on me, second watching I liked it a lot more than the first time. It's not my all time favourite but a very nice diversion from 'the arc' (except of course it may not be) and the relative absence of Amy helped as far as I was concerned! You learn more about this Doctor's style when she's not dragging around shouting at him. I'm still hoping she'll grow on me, but the Doctor and Rory are fantastic, so I'm happy.

If Doctor Who is going to do Christmas, then this is how it should be done.

When do we find out whether there'll be a Christmas episode this year? I know it's very early, but still...
