The HTC Windows phone 7 phones seem to have issues with crap battery life, the Omnia 7 doesn't seem to have this issue but has seems to have a host of other issues IE Crashing, Bluetooth not working etc etc... Have you had issues with the Omnia 7?

Samsung always write terrible firmware for phones on any platform. Whenever I buy an app, I always see in the review section it not working for people - always omnia 7 users, HTC users seem to get one just fine with most apps.

The HTC HD7 doesn't have great battery life thanks to its large screen but it's pretty much the same as its Android brother the Desire HD.

The Mozart and the Tropy I think are fine in these respects.

The very first (small) update was bricking Omnia 7 phones and MS had to pull it temporarily, so there was some incompatibility. That should be solved by now. I have HTC Trophy and battery life is acceptable, I am charging it every 3 days or so.

I have an Omnia 7. It does occasionally crash, but I've never had a problem with apps being unusable on the phone, though the Bluetooth issue is a pain (I believe Samsung Focus handsets in the US have had a mini software update to fix the Bluetooth problem, so hopefully we'll get the same one here).

Despite that, I'm still glad I bought it over the HD7. The screen is better, the battery life's a lot better, the build is superior (mostly metal compared with the plastic HTC handset) and the camera is better quality too.

I'm sure once the update's all come through over the coming months, the handset will rival any out there. Even as it currently is, I'd still say it's one of the top half-dozen handsets on the market.
