Where do you get that idea from? For the combination of vocals, performance, staging, interpretation and adaptation of the song, many people consider it one of the best or the best performance on a talent show by any contestant.

I'm not one of those people but just saying.

I like Adam and I enjoyed the performance, but I don't see it raved about as much as some of his others such as Mad World and TOMT. That's what I meant. I loved Stefano's Tiny Dancer, but it isn't raved about all over the internet (only here, by me) lol

Born To Be Wild was one of - and still is - my fave performances from Adam. I've re-watched that one over and over.

I have a horrid feeling that Stefano and Jacob are going to be the cheesemeisters of the night (again). I hope I'm wrong. Stefano really has to do something uptempo this week, or he surely will be toast (with cheese on top )

The more I've thought about it, I really do think Paul could be doing Footloose. Honestly, I've had the mental images in my head all week

How much fuss did Adam get for his performance of BTBW? I remember Allison getting a lot of attention for doing IDWTMAT - though not as much as anyone who sings it this year would get, obviously.

I love Stefano as you will all know from my other posts in this thread, but I totally agree with you linnylou. He must go uptempo this week, and make himself as current as possible. I'm very worried for him after the Pia situation as it is, even though it's unfair for that to be taken out on him, as it's not his fault

Jacob should go uptempo too, but I'd say he's less likely to than Stefano. I doubt he'll realise how at risk he is, whereas Stefano knows. There are plenty of uptempo songs out there, so I'm sure each of them could find one to suit them

At least Paul - Footloose would be interesting

Of course as much fuss wouldn't have been made about BTBW because it wasn't the one that got the standing ovation from Simon or the one where he said he had emerged as a star or even the one he called indulgent rubbish. It was unfortunate to be the performance the week after MW.

I don't remember Allison getting much attention for IDWTMAT. It was one of her weaker vocal performances. For most of it she was out of tune.

I think if anyone did IDWTMAT this year they would deserve immediate elimination without even bothering to count the votes.

Hopefully someone will do it this week then, other than Stefano. Any excuse to keep him for another week lol Would it be as bad for someone to sing one of J.Lo's songs?

I remember the judges being impressed by Allison as they'd never heard a girl sing DWTMAT before, let alone a teen. She wasn't a favourite of mine throughout, but my favourite song she performed was I Can't Make You Love Me

And as for Adam, I guess even he couldn't get a massive reaction every week, but he made the show very interesting!

I saw a different word there when I read it the first time.

Haha my sis and I were watching CBeebies in an ironic way when we were about 12, and heard a song called Reflections which I thought mentioned the word you're thinking of!

Well, I hope for your sake he does well, but I have a bad feeling that the only way we'll both be happy by the end of the week will be if the elimination's cancelled

Haha that would be better for us, and he wasn't a massive hit the week just gone!

After the other shock eliminations, Jedward lasted one more week and escaped the bottom 2. The Conway Sisters lasted one more week but were in the bottom 2. Ruth lasted 3 more weeks, and was never in the sing off again, but was eliminated on public vote alone when 5 acts were left.

Those may all have been XF, but hey, the principle may still work

When Jennifer Hudson, Michael Johns and Chris Daughtry were eliminated, the contestants in the bottom 2/3 with them either won or made the final.
