Remember when the Conway Sisters stayed over Maria? At the time, I didn't agree with the consensus that Maria's performance of Brown Sugar was bad - I actually loved it. Up until then, she'd mostly done ballads though. I remember feeling the same kind of injustice when she left, although to be fair - the quality of this years American Idol finalists is considerably higher than the 2005 X Factor finalists, in my opinion.

Lol the Conways were my favourites, so is Stefano as it happens. Didn't think Maria should have been eliminated then, don't think Pia should have been eliminated now - but given the choice between only the bottom 2 acts, I'd have agreed with the decision on both occasions

haha it more reminded me of the uproar when Jedward were saved over Lucie Jones. Pia reminded me of Lucie (although pia is stronger) and well stefano is better than JEdward but i remember thinking that there was no chance Jed or Stefano were stopping and then boom!! also reminded me of the uproar when Laura White went out in week 5 i think to Rachel im not too sure..

Laura went out to Ruth Lorenzo. Not entirely sure why there was uproar, Ruth was clearly superior.

It does seem similar to when Lucie went, although I think there was more uproar because Simon saved Jedward (despite criticising them all the way to that point).

I just remember there being petitions etc to bring her back, if it was Ruth i totally agree in my opinion Ruth should have won that series!!

You see the thing is im sure if Simon was still on the AI panel he would have ripped into Stefano (sorry Faria) and may have swayed voters. Mind you he would have ripped into Paul far more lol so im rather glad he isnt there!

Haha we will do, but it'll just be me having fun the week after, when Stefano survives!

Simon may well have ripped into him, then again he loved Joe McElderry for one, who wasn't entirely dissimilar to Stefano. I reckon Kara would've had a bit of a thing about him like she did Matt G and Casey J. She was my favourite judge, not sure why they got rid of her
