They cut to Haley while Pia was singing for the final time (a travesty) she had this pleased vixen like smirk on her face as if her only real competition was gone. I don't get good vibes from her...she gives off a mean girl vibe

Yeah, same here.

Haley fans will guarantee you that is what she looks like when she's crying though.

I think you guys are just looking on something to hate on her for. She could have been smiling at the fact she was singing so well, going out with a bang? Stop looking for someone to hate and find a new favourite.

I think it was more dazed shock, but if she was happy then she shouldn't have been. All 3 of the girls should have hoped that a guy went so that they could feel more secure.

Pia, the possible top female, being eliminated is actually very bad for them because it means they are in great danger too.

I know it's a bit easy to blame it on the gender thing, but 5 girls and 0 guys going!!!

Can't say I noticed it, but Haley doesn't seem a nasty person at all to me, she seems bubbly, kind and a bit quirky. She's the best contestant left too, on a better, more important note.

From what I saw, it looked like she'd been crying. That's why they cut to her, as another example of everybody being upset.

I certainly didn't see any kind of pleased smirk.

Having watched it back, to think that that was a 'vixen like smirk' is seriously clutching at straws.

I did think she looked pleased. But so what, I don't really blame her for that since its a competition. I think Pia going will bring in votes for her.

As much as non fans will guarantee that she has a mean look.

She may have had a pleased look but you couldn't possibly know why she had a pleased look...

I honestly think you are seeing things that weren't there. If there was a smile it could have been a nervous one. Also you have to remember that this is a competition so if one of your biggest rivals gets the boot it would be a natural feeling to be happy that you are still there!

I think I get what you mean. Coming from a musical family, it seems things have been quite easy for her and she does seem like the sort of person who just breezes through and would be a queen bee type. I don't get 'nice' vibes from her the way I do someone like Stefano, or Pia. I really like Casey but I don't get them off him either (or Jacob).

Whereas Lauren seems to be so much more humble and relatable in recent weeks (I assume, I am not her age). I really disliked Lauren's suck-up show-off attitude in the auditions (yes I don't know her etc, just how she came across on TV). Whereas Haley seemed a bit more cool and interesting. Now I feel the opposite, Haley seems full of herself and Lauren seems like she has taken a step back and is a bit more vulnerable, which can help with some songs. I know Haley is most people's favourite on here and that won't go down well but it's just how I feel watching the shows.

I'm not a fan of Hayley and although it did look like that alot of reports are saying she was crying her eyes out and encouraged the audience to start cheering for Pia after the cameras stopped rolling....

I don't think she was smiling, she looked upset

My overriding opinion is "so what?". I'd sooner the contestants were real instead of all the false love. They're in an elimination contest, hoping to change their lives and make a loada money, and there can only be one winner.

If a girl's biggest girl rival leaves then little wonder she heaves a sigh of relief. It's all academic anyway, neither Haley nor Lauren are going to win (and neither was Pia), and both are extremely unlikely to make it to the Final.

That said my own impression of Haley was that her 'smile', if indeed that's what it was, was in reaction to the jeering from the crowd, that's where she was looking, and she leant back as if trying to hide behind another contestant.

:yawn::yawn::yawn::yawn::sleep:

Have a look at her when Casey was singing for survival and you'll see she has the same expression while crying. Are desperate little fans of "Clarence" suggesting that Haley also saw Casey as a threat?
Haley came from nowhere to overtake their overrated, overhyped and overpraised darling and they can't stand it

TBF she was probably a little bit relieved that one of the biggest threats was gone, it also means she's probably going to have another few weeks of coasting through on mediocre performances, unless she pulls something spectacular off (and I don't mean over-rated like Benny and The Jets because it was her least worst performance), she'll be eliminated and will fade way back into obscurity, personally I think Thia and Pia at least as well as possibly Ashthon and Karen were way better than Haley.

No, I highly doubt she would have been smiling at Pia's exit. Pia was by far my favourite, and now my favourite goes to Haley. I think both are spectacular and by the sounds of it, both are lovely girls.

Slightly off topic topic but Nigel Lythgoe said Pia was not one of the front runners. She was always closer to the bottom than the top and he wasn't surprised she got voted off because he knew how the voting was going every week. She was never a front runner.

From what is being reported and quoted from the mouths of one or two people who would know, Pia was never anywhere near the top and actually only just avoided the bottom three pretty much every week until now.

Unfortunately for Pia and her fans, this is something that is likely to be taken into consideration by the record company when they decide how big or small a contract to offer her or whether to offer her a contract at all. If the stats showed that she had been up there from the start and this week was a blip it would be different.

I don't need an excuse to "HATE" Hayley, haven't liked her since week 1 of the live shows, when she yodeled her way through her song

I didn't really notice that , what I did notice was Casey and Jacob holding hands and Casey holding on to Jacob's leg for dear life which was kinda sweet .

I hate (or should I say hate on? ) the puerile American expressions infiltrating the English language in the UK.

That doesn't surprise me. It seems that there has almost always been at least one contestant each year that many people assume is more popular than they are and is doing better than they are and they invariably end up eliminated earlier than many people thought they would, even though those people then admit to never having rated that contestant very highly themselves.
