NME have also said that the "Judas" video will involve motorbikes, death and a strong word sequence about Gaga being "beyond repetence".

Let's hope she's ON a motorbike, not THE motorbike.

So surely it would make sense for it to be the Judas cover not the album cover?

I can just imagine her being the motorbike

I actually ADORE how hilarious it is that DS post forum comments in their reports.

They did this before and made sure the negative ones were highlighted.

So professional I could die.

Plus, they had to pick the quote I was totally wrong about, didn't they?

NME have all the news. Not that hyped about Bloody Mary - it's going to be more like Bloody GaGa. I consider myself a very liberal Christian, but it's still a bit offensive in what she's doing. Of course, then she seems to think she can justify it by being Christian herself.

Judas video sounds better and better though. The motorbike's finally coming into it - I wonder if it'll be as good as Britney sexually assaulting Tyson Beckford on one in Toxic, and then back-flipping her way out of a restraining order.

I read on twitter that once the Judas video comes out, the album cover will make more sense. Hopefully! I still can't quite take to Bike-Ga...

The monsterball has gone on way too long and thats why some of her singles arent doing as well as they could over here because what little time she has to promote is done in the US.Next month though things will change and it'll be all out promo..also,shes apparently said the btw era will last 2 years so that means a massive world tour and about 5 singles at least which hopefully she'll be able to promote

She really can't mess around with the video this time, it needs to be released in the next week or so, two weeks at the latest.

I think it will do well in America, as the radio play/sales build she will hopefully release the video which will boost it even further. Then she is performing it on the American Idol finale which is around the time the album drops so it's all complimentary.

Let's just hope she hasn't forgotten about the UK. I wasn't aware she was performing on Graham Norton, does anyone know when?

I'm hoping for a bit more than a late night chat show...”

I've said from the start that this 'on air on sale' was a stupid idea, especially as singles sales in general have sky-rocketed over the last few years. I know most of Gaga's previous singles were instantly available, but it was ok then because she had tons of promotion going on at the time. Even she can't just rely on her name to get a huge hit single.

------------------------------

For the first time, I'm actually starting to worry about the album's potential success. I know it's ridiculously early to say, and I know she'll be promoting heavily at the time of it's release, but if she doesn't have a big hit single at the top of the charts to carry it during the release, there's a danger of the album peaking early then tailing off. If Judas falls out of the charts in the next few weeks, the promotion might come too late to save it, so things have to get a move on quickly. The new album is unlikely to match the sales of TF/TFM anyway, but it's not just automatically going to be a big seller in the long term. Also there's the sense that more and more people are getting fed up of her constant antics and trying too hard ALL the time. Haters will always hate, but I do get the feeling she's grating on much more people than before.

Anyway, just speculating.

TWO YEARS?

That's a long time out of her career - is she sure about that?

“"I am perpetually unhappy with what I create," she said. "Even though I might tell you that 'Edge Of Glory' is a pop masterpiece, when it's all said and finished there will be things I dread, and every time I listen to it I'll hear them."”

She really needs to stop proclaiming her music is revolutionary, life changing, or a 'masteriece'. I realise she discounts the statement to some extent by saying she notices the flaws in her songs, but still, the sentiment is there.

On Air - On Sale doesn't seem to be working in the UK at all, but is having good success in the US.

I'm also a little worried about the album, but I never thought it was going to be as big as TF/M. That was a freak hit - those things don't just happen with every album. That was special. Now she has to prove herself. The Honeymoon is nearing it's end, and she has to focus on building a strong core fanbase, because it won't be long until casual listeners start dropping off.

I doubt Judas will fall off the charts in the US, as airplay and sales build there. Then there's the music video to boost, then the performance on the biggest show in America.

If the rumours of Judas performances on Graham Norton and NMA then she won't have anything to worry about in the UK. She just needs the music video within the week to sustain it until then.

I don't really mind much how well the album or singles do - as Mr. F said, we can't expect her to repeat TF/M in terms of success - because it's ultimately a question of how good the material is.

I genuinely get the impression that this album will be very strong. Much more so than her previous efforts. Not in terms of potential smash hit singles, but more as a cohesive, strong, representation of what she is capable of. It might not be a dead on strike this time round, but it'll show that she has much more potential than simply a popstar hit-machine.

I agree. I want to see her grow as an Artist as well as an Icon.
