And people all over other forums are laughing and moaning because she's just "attention seeking now her career has flopped." LOL.

Like her or not, Lady Gaga is one of the most powerful people in music today.

Ok this idea that she's flopping is absolutely ridiculous. How can people say that when the new album hasn't even come out yet and Judas is still quite high in the charts worldwide with no promo? Beyonce's new single took about a day to climb the Itunes chart whereas it took Gaga less than an hour. These "flop" claims from some people are unbelievable, and I think it is because she is so successful at the moment there are some people out there desparate to see her fail. Happens with every superstar I guess.

that is true. it does happen to everyone that gets to her level of success.

unfortunately, it comes with the superstar status. it is too soon to write off the album yet.

The HBO snippet shows that even with all the fame + money and fans Gaga is still herself and shes a professional in what she does. The shows, the music, the clothes..everything. Gaga deserves all success she has/gets because she worked so hard to achieve where shes at today

I know these are remixes but the original songs are both on her new album and if these remixes are anything to go by, they're gonna be so good.

First in the mix is Scheiße or, as it's now known on the album, Shiza. Second is Government Hooker.

Listen to them here, they sound like monsters of a song, both of them.

"I am absolutely clear, I bear the name Monster"

May 5th = JUDAS VIDEO!!!

even if it means the song falls a bit, she's going to do well by not releasing it on Easter Sunday.

I don't understand how people say she might have peaked after her first album. LG will always make music and the likes of Madonna peaked in 1989 with LAP her 3rd/4th album and some will argue she peaked way later in 1998 with ROL. LG may well peak on her 5th/6th album who knows. People need to calm down cos she's had one single that isn't setting the charts alight and all of a sudden shes finished I've heard enough of the album to know it will be her best yet

Not yet, but once she starts intense promo for it it will I agree, plus Rihanna peaked with GGGB and Britney during ITZ. It doesn't in any way equal a flop/mean an artist can never be successful again.

They're talking out their collective ass - let's be honest. Combination of 'the sky is falling down' for fans, and haters just wanting her to fail so badly.

BTW was a success. Judas is just finding it's legs, but is essentially handicapped from no promotion (which won't kick in till May) and backlash for content.

People seem to have it in their head that peaking is the death of her career and implies a nosedive in popularity immediately afterwards. In many respects Gaga probably has peaked because she literally couldn't get any bigger, but that doesn't mean she's going anywhere.

Tbh the only backlash Judas is really getting is from extreme Catholic groups plus that girl on Youtube who claims you go to hell if you listen to it Gaga's done well to hold the video release until after Easter - if she was going to release it tomorrow I think that could've started a REAL backlash.

If she does R1BW, BGT, Daybreak and Alan/Graham...maybe throwing in a Live Lounge, then she'll be on top form with people here for a while, rounded off by a performance on X Factors and then Brits.

I also REALLY hope she guests at Beyonce's Glasto set for Telephone/Videophone. Darkchild hinted they'd perform it together 'soon' at the Grammys, so considering the TMB didn't happen...this is the next opportunity.

I can't wait for the Judas video and promo - the song will do well, it's still just finding it's feet in the chart.
That HBO clip was nice, but I agree with the FM who said it's like Madonna's Truth Or Dare.*

*I am not implying that she ripped off Madonna, just that it's similar.

Just listened to the leaked snippets of Judas.

I really wish they'd kept the guitar/synth/disco drum intro. It's much stronger than 'woahhhhh' etc.

There's raw energy here that I think they over-produced out in the final version.

Also miss the trippy synths in 'I...wanna love you...'

My brother thinks that if the video is good then Judas will overthrow Bad Romance.

I don't think she'll top BR - in terms of success - for a while yet.

That song was huge, only-happens-a-few-times-in-a-career huge. She was fortunate enough to have PF and BR in the space of a year, but that's pretty unheard of - certainly not a rule she can confirm with each album.

Musically, she could top it with EoG or MTN, hell DITD could have topped it for some...but because that's so subjective, it'll need to be an international phenomenon of a song to officially 'top' BR.

With all the pop stars (and others) who have said that Bad Romance is the "one to beat" I agree with you. DITD could've done it if the video was really clever but instead she went for Alejandro! WHY!!!
