Has anyone manage to copy a FreeSat High Def programme on to a Blu-Ray?
If so how and what software?

Yes both to bluray and DVD(AVCHD format) blanks. The Dr Who Xmas special fits on a single layer DVD blank in AVCHD format. Create the folder using TSmuxergui. Burn the folder using imgburn or pretty well any burning package with udf2.50 support

I should have been a bit more descriptive in what I wanted!

I have a FoxSat and have copied HD files from there to my PC, I wanted to use my Blu-Ray burner to convert to a disc which will play in my Blu-Ray player.

I've loaded TSmuxerg and shall have a go. There seem to be enough forum chat to make up for the Russian instructions

Many Thanks

Tsmuxergui

If you have just a single file click on add

If you have more use join to add these to the window.

If the compilation is less than about 4GB choose AVCHD (you can use el-cheapo DVD blanks, double for dual layer), otherwise choose bluray.

The programme will create two folders Certificate and BDMV.

If you google using IMGburn to burn bluray or AVCHD there's lots of info on the net

I've just tried 2 different programmes using TSmuxergui
and Nero to burn onto BDRE discs

The first was an episode of Downton Abbey (3.7GB), which played OK on a Panasonic Player, but there was no sound on a Sony player.

The second was the Grand National (19GB)
This would not play on either machine and crashed the Sony.
The stream file 0000.m2ts played on Media Player HD albeit out of synch.
Is there nothing else? I don't paying a small amount so don't suggest Premiere
