Although Ste's now with Noah and Brendan's "left town", there's no denying the fact that these two are still madly in love and are still connected deeply to each other, so the question is: when and where will these two potentially hook back up? And who will make the first move?

Tough one. Yes, I'd say it's pretty clear that Ste has just done a rebound thing trying to move on with Noah. And that Brendan would have tried to get him back if Noah hadn't been there. Yes, they're crazy about each other.

Oh the other hand, it's hard to come back from punching/admissions of murder/baseball bat attacks.

I fully expect when Brendan gets back, there will be some fairly obvious "Oh I'm so over you" behaviour from Ste, flaunting what he's got with creepy Noah, while alternately looking longingly at Brendan. I'm not sure I want either of them to make a move - maybe it'll just happen spontaneously when they find themselves together somewhere. And I suspect they probably need to actually try talking to each other at some point (rather than just grabbing and snogging, which has pretty much been done to death) so they can start to build some trust.

Hmm its a tough one.

Brendan needs to in part. After everything - the beatings, etc. However, I personally hope that Ste will be drawn back to him, they will thrash out their issues, etc - but i see more likely that Brendan gets wound up, him and Ste argue it out and then end up doin the dirty on the desk!!

Can definitely see this happening. Neither one of them will probably beg the other back-and rightfully so, and Ste will try to flaunt Noah while Brendan will be all "I'm over it".....can totally see an arguement of somekind leading up to their coming together although it may take some time---probably by may-june?

This is how I see it. Any good TV producer/director knows that the viewers love nothing more than a 'will they? won't they?' We never had that with Brendan and Ste. When the programme-makers realized how popular B & S had become, they had to be split up in order to engineer a 'will they? won't they?' It will be deliciously tantalizing and ultimately more satisfying than if they just got back together again right away. That's how I would do it anyway.

I love Ste! His accent is awesome, I think maybe Kieron exaggerates his own accent a bit when he's acting

That said, I think not being with brendan is causing him to loose his grip on reality a tad. He keeps having hallucinations about brendan being places he isn't..poor guy, maybe he needs some pills or something?

This is one of my favourite moments:
