why is this woman incapable of taking risks outside of the wardrobe departmen? From early reviews, it sounds like `Judas' is a remake of `Bad Romance'.

Seeing as Bad Romance is considered one of GaGas best, this means Judas should be decent surely?

Haters just gonna hate

Popjustice said that it is like, 'Poker Face' as it is to 'Bad Romance' It's not a copy at all. And apparently its proper Gaga, too, so, all I can say is I cannot wait, its going to be a huge hit I think.

I agree.

Although, the theme of Religion and Church has been covered before by a certain other white Italian-American female Popstar...

Gaga in a lot of ways is just beginning her career. so I think at this point it would be a mistake to do anything too different than what she is known for.
Most artists do have a certain sound, so why should Gaga be any different.
I think her problem is she has created these impossibly high expectations by hyping her new music as the greatest thing ever recorded.
I like her, but I think her ego is getting out of control.

If you can't go anything with the same theme as anything else, then there would probably be about 10 songs in the entire world we could listen to.

And Madonna isn't exactly Miss. Orgininality either - Frozen is banned in Belgium due to plagerism, she's released covers and used samples from ABBA.

I agree. When people say Gaga ripped off Madonna, they need to remember that, yes, its quite likely that she models herself on Madonna because she sees her as an idol and that Madonna also took inspiration from other artists for example she modelled herself on Marilyn Monroe.

Anyway, Judas sounds like its going to be better than Born This Way IMO

That wouldn't be hard to do! I like Gaga but Born this Way was one of her weakest songs. I appreciate the message but the song itself was sub-par compared to her other stuff.

Easter + Mary Magdalene + Controversy + Lady Gaga = coupled with her talent in producing amazing musical tracks, Judas is going to be a huge hit!

I'll wait until I hear it but...

I hope it's better than the lead single and I hope she has some slower songs on the album. I'm not taking PopJustice's review for gospel because I find them waaaay too gushy and Born This Way didn't cut it for me, especially after their review.

Can't say I'm looking forward to it. Sick of the religious references to be honest.

it is all down to ART imitating ART imitating ART.

I mean Madonna was influenced by Marylin, Bette Davis, Joan Crawford and some elements of Debbie Harry too. And she really paid a tribute to them whilst being 100% Madonna too. She takes the past and pushes it all forward (1 of the million reasons why i love her so much!)

That is what i like about gaga now! That she is so influenced by Madonna in fashion, music, lyrics and vocals. BUT it is also undeniably HER. I was put off by it at first BUT then I thought i like what she is doing here for Born This Way as a concept.

It is VERY Madonna, VERY Bowie, some bits of Elton here and ultimately VERY Warhol/Velvet Underground & Nico. BUT also it is 100% gaga. and i cannot wait for Judas to arrive and the era and the album!

Apparently Judas is around 130bpm... On The Floor is also around 130bpm... draw your own conclusions. Mine? Flopga is so unoriginal, oh my god! Does her plagiarism know no end?!?

I noticed she's also using roman lettering to name her songs—what a thieving bitch!

Etc.

really i think it will surpass her 4th by far!

whereas her 6th just will harnass her a more commercial appeal to the new music market.

her 7th will just be an attempt to harness the R&B market however....why did u do it gaga?!?!?!
