HTC Desire switching off
TriciaOM

Hi,

Has anyone had a problem with their HTC Desire switching off. Over the weekend my switched itself off about 4 times. It switched back on within 2 seconds. It wasn't in my bag or pocket at the time so no buttons were touched.

Also for the last two weeks its telling me "Phone storage is getting low". I deleted unused apps and a load of text messages but it is still the same.

Any advice or suggestions welcomed.

Thanks

Go to Settings - Applications and delete the cache for e.g. Facebook, Twitter, Tweetdeck, Market... depending on what you have installed.

if u use opera mobile this soak up a lot of memory and I mean a lot... you can either delete the cache within that app which will keep logins or do it as per above... if u use the native browser then it maybe that too as it will ne the Adobe flash player munching up the memory

You need to delete the right apps from the phone, that is the ones that are installed on the phone and not on the sd card. Otherwise you will not free up space.
You can do this from settings\manage apps or from easier to see in app2sd
